If you are going to ANU first year you should apply to ANU accommodation portal. You will get guaranteed accommodation( there are few option). But I think last date to apply is 20th December.

@kiratAlreja this is a double studio apartment so, if one opts for single studio or a better apartment does the price change ? also please tell me how much is the rent weekly

I'm not sure what it was at the time he posted this, but at the moment, the double studio at Kinloch is $561/week, and a normal studio is $400/week, so it's gone up a bit since last year and is pretty expensive, but that includes utilities and it's right on campus. So in the scheme of Canberra housing, it's not too bad.
