Today's video is a tour of SNU's brand new Global Residence Halls! If you're interested in staying here in the future, I hope this video helps you decide. I moved in here on the 1st of September, literally two weeks ago and I am the first person to ever live in my room, so this video is first-hand experience of the Global Residence.

1. how much for one semester?
- i paid around 800,000 won for three months and the prices have gone up recently. double rooms are more expensive
2. how to get into snu?
i went to korea as a part of my year abroad programme at my home uni, so unfortunately i have no idea. everything's explained on the snu page i would suggest you read that

Nah I'm sure they scan fingerprint, not veins because that doesn't make sense. Biometric authentication is there is most of the countries.

highly recommend not showing passwords or even any parts related to it since the numbers have a specific sound to it and people can easily know the password by the sounds. safety first.

michelle snu is located pretty much in a mountain (gwanak mountain) so there’s plenty of green spaces on the campus! it’s super nice, can’t wait for spring to come when cherry blossom start to bloom :)

i never really thought of it as "dangerous" because i felt really safe in korea :) the password was different for every door and there's basically no way someone from the outside could get into the building as it was monitored 24/7.

The setting is beautiful, the campus facilities are amazing and the vein scanning security system... it's like a dystopian city

The heat control on the wall is called a thermostat in the US. It might be called something else in other parts of the world. Beautiful dorm!

I suggest getting slimmer hangers! I also have a narrow hanging wardrobe and slimmer hangers made a ton of difference when I switched to them! Increased almost twice the amount of storage for me.

I really like how you share with three other girls but still have enough room space. It was amazing. Usually universities in my country don’t have dorms built within the campus.

I brows the CZcams and watch these dorm videos by international students pursuing higher studies abroad. I find these Videos very calming. I love them. I so pray and hope that one day i get to be one of them. 💜
wow crazy now they finally have global residence dorms at snu... when i went we had to compete with locals for dorms and i ended up having to find housing off campus! have an amazing semester!! snu and their buddy system was amazing 💜

Its really cool because when I went to SNU in 2017 I think, they were still doing construction on your building. I remember one day there was a fire in your building construction and everyone was shook. Really nice to see it done!

You have seperate rooms that was so good even tho it's quite small I still like the idea mostly here 2 Or 3 girls share 1 room actually there's no privacy so sometimes it's hard to maintain things tho very good to know each other well I also really wanna study abroad 😊
