    First, nice vid! My only recommendation is NOT to use the tapered nozzle attachment...in fact, don't even use that wide nozzle as well. Use NO attachment...this way you will witness the true power (of the force...lol) of all 765 CFMs, in Turbo mode. And, yes, if you want the 200 mph, you'll need the tapered nozzle, but that is NOT for leaf clearing...maybe for tough grass removal or other heavier material. So, for leaf moving, keep the tool bare (no attachment), and use Turbo when needed. Note: There is the "-2" model, which comes with TWO 5-amp batteries, plus the more-advanced FAST-Charger, which charges these batteries up in 40 minutes, and also features a cooling fan while charging.. Thanks again for a great video!!

    I bought this one the other day. My neighbor has the 650CFM model. He asked if the extra power was worth it. I put a battery in it and handed it to him. He hit the turbo button and he almost dropped it in shock. It’s a great blower.

    Great review. I bought one for myself and one for my senior parents to use for clearing leaves and light snow. The 765 is a bit beefy at just under 10lbs, but use a shoulder strap and it's perfect for anyone to use. If yours doesn't come with a shoulder strap in the box, there are plenty aftermarket straps available online if you check.

    It’s the best electric leaf blower on the market period. I bought all models to test for a project at work (engineer) and this model was the best.

    Extra Bonus: I used my EGO blower to drive a BEAR away from our garbage bins ! The air pressure and the loud noise on TURBO is very effective 🙂

    I believe the 765 comes with a shoulder strap, which should solve the fatigue issue. Also, the prices of the corded vs the battery powered would have aided your comparison. My issue with the battery version is the short run time. If you have a larger lot, an extra battery pack or a gasoline blower would be warranted. Thanks for the video! Great job!

    Just throwing it out there the 650 CFM with a 5 amp hour battery is on sale for $200 at Lowe's Amazon and Ace. Not able to weigh in on the difference between the 650 and the 765 but I imagine the $125 saving might make it worth considering.

    For the price of the EGO you can buy a good used commercial grade Redmax ebz8500 or Husqvarna 580bts with over 900 cfm at 206 mph and run circles around the EGO all day.

    Once you go turbo you never go back! Nice review man! I agree with your complaint about the cruise control being susceptible to accidentally knocking it on.
    Did you see much difference using the funnel tip vs leaving it wide open?

    Ive had to use the warranty of 2 New ego 650s because of trying to use the Variable speed trigger on the 650.. when transferring from low to high or trying to feather the trigger... it just all of a sudden quit..it doesn't like it for some reason... just a warning to be careful .. I think it likes either wide open or Off.. The 765 maybe different. I like the blower other than that little hick up.. the warranty was great just keep your receipt & register it... you have 1 year only from date of purchase I think... or it may be 5 years for home use.. I cant remember.

      I have similar problem with the 765. I put the speed dial on low or medium and as soon as I hit the trigger blows at full speed, meaning that speed dial is defective?

    • @robertclark2935
      @robertclark2935 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@joaquinsuarez6090 Not sure Joa I'm not familiar with that one.. I have an older version 460 I think it has a high or low switch I don't have a problem with it. but the 650 it's the trigger mechanism itself. It doesnt like in between squeezing.. it's just like a 2 stroke or 2 cycle engine it Only likes Wide open throttle.. nothing less or in between or it will CONK OUT.. I believe it blows the internal transitor or rectifier inside the control module.

      I agree. I got very tired of using a 100 ft extension cord and add a 25 ft as well for many years and finally got the 765 and love it, now I can walk on roof to blow leaves from gutters and don't need to go down to change extension cord to another outlet and go back up.

      This is maybe the most hilarious CZcams comment I’ve ever read. Fence shaming: it’s real. While it may look TERRIBLE to some, it looks like 99% of non-new fences surrounding the homes of those whose identities and senses of well-being aren’t tied to eradicating normal sprinkler marks on their fencing. I will say this comparison is easily done on paper, cfm vs cfm is truth.

    Just purchased this EGO. Replacing a Toro just like that one and to tell the truth i'm skeptical it can it can do any better than that corded blower. I have 4 large oaks and been through maybe 3 Toro's in 20 years. Guess i'll keep the EGO and give it a try anyway.
