The Knicks don’t need to fully guarantee Anunoby’s deal. If I had to guess, they’ll look to put some injury protections in the contract. But Anunoby should have other suitors in the market. We’ve noted that Philadelphia could pursue Anunoby. If the Sixers make an offer to Anunoby at a certain dollar amount or without injury protections, maybe it forces the Knicks to sign Anunoby without any protections.

Most superstars in the NBA have injury issues. But yet their team always pays them regardless. We can’t worry about injuries to the point we scared to pay players. Lakers pay AD despite his injuries. Clippers paid Kawhi despite his injuries. KD gets paid despite his injuries. Zion, Lavine, KAT. If we don’t someone else will pay him anyway. This is starting to look like a real bad trade for a CAA client. Trading for OG without a fully guaranteed to resign him. He could have the stats as a star but no duality on the floor. He does make the Knicks contenders when he accountable. It would be smart for the Knicks to add a injury clause in the contract.
individual stats for really good european teams are misleading. he as consistently been seen as one of the best young prospects in europe. he is 100% an nba player i don't see why you don't bring him over and see what happens. would be stupid asset management to not test him out and the leon has been great with asset management

We have an ECF team already. Take all of our draft capital and grab a few hardcore 2-way vets for depth.
Knicks will probably just want OG to play at least 75% of the reg season and 80% of the playoffs...something like that...and that sounds fair to me..but he wont sign that

I would not trade Randall. I would run it back. When I look at all the stars available I don’t think they’re much better than Randall. Even when I look at bridges if we can get them with a bunch of number ones plus some other players like Robin said McBride, then I’m all in butI would not trade Randall for Bridges. I think that if we traded Randall for Durant that would get us a championship but for just one year. I would use superior bench help.

Cavs are desperate trying to keep Donavan
O.G. is an excellent basketball player. However, His contract should not be on par with a Lebron, K.D., Paul George, etc. O.G. should get no more than 28 mil. per three years without an injury stipulation due to his inability to stay healthy. Also never an All-Star like Randle, but being paid the same as Randle, is a generous offer. Of course, not everyone will agree. This is just if the money was coming from MY wallet.
