Well the entire Megaman Zero saga was more darker than both the original and x sagas combined. The situation went from bad to worse pretty damn fast if you ask me.
If you hear it with enough attention, you can notice some Freezia notes on it. It’s cool how they “spoiled” the end through the game with this music and Esperanto

The GBA sound chips does interprete this song perfectly to the point that no remaster could ever capture the feeling of it as much as this version. The caravan's settlement, Ciel's wish, Zero's determination... and his demise... Right in the feels, guys.

I think you missed the story and theme of megaman zero, its not about happiness. It's about a pollution, war against humans and reploids and the destruction of zero. I love this theme because its so calm!

i used to play this game so much on the og dark blue nintendo ds my childhood friend floyd gave me the game ill never forget it i always find it floating around my room but havent seen it recently. but then i picked up the megaman z/zx collection on sale on xbox n have been feeling the nostalgia in waves and trying to finally complete a game i never could as a child. this song has always stood out to me even at an early age. i would leave my ds open and jus stand in area zero camp next to ciel or alouette n fall asleep. i wish i could go back to make better choices in life and not mess up some relationships but i hope if you see this jus send sum luck or prayers my way. even if you dont leave a reply

Actually man, 2 solidified X's true inevitable death. No avoiding it now. Really z2 was one of the more important games. Without x's body being destroyed and the dark elf being reformed, z3 more than likely wouldn't have even happened. Arguably z4 too.
Not to mention that Z2 is when the Mother and Baby Elves were introduced and, subsequently, when the seeds for the Omega Arc were sown. Srsly, Z2 was such a big turning point in the MMZ saga. Had Elpizo never released the Mother Elf(destroying X's physical body in the process)the events of Z3 and Z4 would have unraveled in an entirely different way and X and Zero probably wouldn't have had to sacrifice themselves in order to save all humanity and the reploids. So in short: Screw you Elpizo.
