I have not seen Ramanand Sagar's ramayan,and my generation won't watch it since it's too lengthy and old ....so we really need a ramayan movie franchise and nitesh tiwari will definitely do the justice to ramayan.

@@princemeena4732 False equivalency - smoking is an ordinary vice, and Arun Govil didn't smoke to insult Hindu beliefs. I am actually impressed he gave it up - even though nobody demanded it. Gauhatya is an unforgivable sin to Hindus and Ranbir declared he did this to specifically mock Hindus. Just because he wants this role, he can claim he gave it up. I don't trust he has actually had a change of heart. If he cannot respect basic religious sentiments of Hindus, he should not play Maryada purushotam Ram. Period.
