Wow Wayne those are luxurious for sure, especially by Thai standards with all due respect BUT 24 million baht is around 1 million Australian dollars and outrageous cost for a place in Chiang Mai. Having said that they are in MINT condition just like the hostess 😂🤣😂 Trying to work out how the first place at 24 million baht fully furnished can reduce to 17 million baht if unfurnished. I am missing something there as to how furniture can be worth 7 million baht. Something not right there mate. The equivalent of around AUD280,000 for the furniture. Hmmmm. Excellent video mate. Amazing as it may seem, that may all be relevant to some, and that's OK, we can not all be me. I can leave comments here in Firefox where I am signed in. I can still watch it on what looks like a largely Block Chain browser, where ad, and track blocking is part of it's entire security protocol. So far so good.

Preferred the 2nd one due to the price but still feels too expensive. The 1st one was stupid money - I’d say the ground floor bedroom & sectioned off kitchen was a maid’s room or ‘granny flat’ even. But I’d want more space & own pool at least for that money.

Wow, Wayne, that was quite a find! Impressive property with nice vibe, and the officer in uniform with the white gloves following you around with the umbrella was like something out of a 1940's movie. Personally, I prefer the laid-back casual scene.
It's a nice place mate and the service was too class. Little bit pricey for me, but I enjoyed the day . Thanks
@@WalkAboutWayne It reminded me of back in the Day when Thai Airlines was for years #1, and the service was too 'Class' and got to the point of pestering with too much service, and it got to the point where you wanted hide in the toilet for a moment of peace.
Wayne that house unfurnished is worth approx 7-8 million Baht, they may have given you a foreign price. A 12million Baht house in Bangkok is far more luxurious then the house you are showing.
Same price in the brochures mate ( unless they have a farang brochure) it was nice grounds and great security, mountain views on some places. I agree though, it was high priced.

Who can afford these houses and is allowed to buy them? Only Thai citizens can purchase houses and only a very small elite can afford something like this. Unless Thais buy them and rent to foreigners, but if the talk about taxing foreigners' income comes true, forget about that.
Yes, this place would only appeal to the richer Thai locals. I'm sure they rent them out or maybe Chinese investment.
Can tell you are a single guy Wayne,the smaller kitchen was a "utility" room,they are usually a bit smaller than that one,normally just have washing machine,sink and a worktop,or somewhere to iron clothes.

What is the location ? How far to city centre.
Price seems a bit high. There’s always deals to be had to knock them down from listed. Depending on market, but it is a buyers market so..

Nice place big jump in price between the two propertys I don't think the one was worth nearly 3 times the amount of the other but the the smaller one was very reasonably priced.
Yeah, the pricing was all over the place. Bit to expensive, but it was a really nice estate. The smaller one wasn't to bad, I agree.

Yes, after all the great work they did around the grounds, the gym was small. It was nice to look around, but not a place for me. I would take one for free though 🤣🤣
regards to also buying a house as far as I've found out so far you can buy 49% of a house but you can never legally own the land its on that will always be your wife or thai partner ect.
Yep, that's about right. You would need to trust a partner or be married. Hope they change this rule in the future.
