- A great museum, inside a decommissioned freighter, tells the story of the unique ore carrier ships that plied the waters of the Great lakes. The Soo Locks opened up Lake Superior and the iron ore ranges of Minnesota. The steam-powered Valley Camp operated for 50 years on the Great Lakes.
