PLEASURE TO SEE YOU WORKING, YOU ARE A REAL PRO.
Great video! The ultrasonic cleaner did the trick. After cleaning it by hand using carburetor cleaner and fishing line my engine still did not run properly. So I went to harbor freight and bought an ultrasonic cleaner for $32 with a 20 percent off coupon. Put the carburetor back together and everything runs great, thank you!
Thank you for a very well produced "How to" video. It was exactly, (almost) what I was looking for. I'm not sure if there are legal ramifications for your avoidance of the hidden jet under the brass plug on the primer side of the carb, but as fuel passes through it, it really needs to be removed and cleaned as part of a thorough carb rebuild. I give you a solid 10 for following what would certainly be a "Factory" scripted rebuild however and I'm sure your knowledge of carburetor function goes way beyond mine, I just wanted to point out something that I fear some people may miss and find they still have fueling issues. Thanks again for a very professionally produced video.
The video is very good procedure step by step
Thanks for the close-ups
Glad they were able to help with your repair!
I watched the video but you forgot the mesh screen its not showing you install in this video
awesome video! Thanks for the step by step!
I watched the video, ordered the parts for my Echo SRM-2100 and they got here within a week! I took the carb off, disassembled it and sprayed it with carb cleaner, the passages then removed the screen filter and sprayed into it. Reassembled the carb and installed it on the trimmer with a new fuel tank, checked the spark arrestor screen which was clean. New spark plug, new fuel lines and grommet and new air and fuel filters. The machine was hard to start, once started and adjusted the carb it idles fine, and accelerates well but when I turn it up on end to use to edge it dies after a few seconds then is very hard to start. Any ideas? I used fresh 91 octane (no ethanol) fuel and Echo Red Armor 2 cycle oil , 2.6 oz. to a gallon of gas. Thanks for your help! Loved the video!
great video, thanks
Did you add anything to the water in the ultrasonic cleaner?
Good brother
are those Zama carbs? Great video! Looks like a GT 225?
Hi Tony, that was a ZAMA carburetor in the video.
