Yes, America should put America first, including securing its own borders. That's on Biden not applying the law. But America should _also_ help other countries in need. That's the message of the story of the Good Samaritan. Ukraine is under attack from Russia, and needs help, which is coming from various countries, but America should be part of that.
Israel is also under attack, and although they have a very capable military, they can also do with some help, which America (and other countries) should provide.
And Taiwin is under serious threat of attack from China.
Actually, the Good Samaritan story is about helping _strangers_ in need. Even more so one should be helping friends in need, and Taiwan and Israel (if not also Ukraine) are America's friends.

Those that support Ukraine claiming they are defending democracy and freedom ignore the facts that Zelensky has attacked his own citizens who oppose him since 2014 rather than addressing their grievances and is forcing Ukrainians into the military which has killed almost a half a million citizens. Russia was attempting to protect Ukrainians so rather than negotiating a peaceful resolution, NATO urged them to continue killing. That is not protecting democracy but violating basic human rights. Zelensky is skimming this aid to enrich himself so while NATO citizens are homeless, Zelensky is buying luxury villas, yachts and cars. There is a reason Ukraine is considered the most corrupt country in the world.
