Thanks for the video and time you took to show us how to do it. You just proved to me that I’d rather spend the hundred bucks labor to have the dealership do it for me. Thought it was a simple change. Didn’t realize I’d have to take the whole door apart for a simple door handle. Thanks though.

Thanks for the video. I bought the part and was scratching my head on how to fit it and this made it easy. Odd how BMW uses those melted plastic mounts for a part that fails.
The eBay one said it’s left door so wondering is it the same we use for our RHD car?
Thanks! Every car door is different. Given how easily the original handle plastic deteriorated, I would think BMW could make that handle insert easier to remove. But nooooo....

man, always and I mean ALWAYS go with Aliexpress. Ebay is selling the same stuff 2x-3x the price of the Aliexpress and it's the same thing. The whole set cost around €30,- there.
All you had to do is insert the new one over the old one.All that work for no reason
