ive died more to desync cheaters and sound issues this wipe than any wipe before, its been awful...
because sound in buildings is layered, a building like dorms the sound layer is different than buildings in reserve, the game is a mess.
@@mad0uche I know why sound is fucked in dorms, just don’t get how the sound layers in dorms are fucked even tho it’s just food floors seperatibg the different floors, but on reserve i this case, there’s gotta be like at least 5-10ft of concrete seperatibg lvndmark and the dude he was hearing

I would say theres a need to wipe reputation too with changes to what items are available when so it can be properly balanced for whats expected of a new player / someone doing quests (Eg. Youre not going to ask someone with base 9x19 and saigas to go kill 20 rogue scavs on lighthouse with SMGs (Daily/weekly excluded), you'd design it to wait till they have 3-4 SMGs and the armor pen stuff. So if theres more quests being added / moved around then theres a need for us to test the power levels of each tier of quest Requirement+Vendor access AND - 1.0 there will be no more wipes (Apparently) so patience is key. Dont forget this is beta not launch. We're *technically* testing, not "playing the game as intended" Prestiege system would be good to add when wipes are finally removed though.
the most annoying thing in the game has to be the discover funktion.
at least they could spear vets doing it over and over again every wipe :D
Unless I'm misremembering; several wipes ago they let you carry over your discovered loot/gear so you didn't have to reexamine it. I don't know why they only did it that one time though.

interesting idea about level / wipe progression but the advantage to those keeping say level 20 and have instant flea makes the divide to new players / accounts even harder because prices can force those players out (remember the bitcoin wipe?)

i hit level 40 and cant bring myself to open the game again. i feel so burnt and this is my second wipe but last wipe i only hit lvl 28. cant imagine running thru kappa 5 times.

M62 must have super high pen too armor and not doing a lot of flesh damage. Everyone he shot had destroyed armor. Still doesn’t explain helmets eating it though.
Personally I think the quests should be randomized somehow so that everyone isn't on the same quests at the same time.

If you have two different shoreline quests, try and get them done together…
But random it for everyone, it would make so that the questing is not so time linear….
Think of it like this, beginning of the wipe, everyone is going after the same things and is always in the same areas.
Late wipe, Everyone is always doing the same things…
If quest are randomized, than people would be going everywhere all the time. Even just more side quests, keep the main story quests how they are,,, but add more meaningful random side quests

wouldn't agree with the presige system, unless it doesn't give you any extra rewards other than doing the quests again
because usually, games give you some other bonus that would be in this game in the form of skills, secure container or stash upgrade
but if it's only to redo the quests again with no other penalty, then im all for it

hear me out add a metric shit ton of non essential quests that scale based on your level last wipe then when u hit wipe your level resets, but the quest gives a shit ton of xp so the people who play the game like a religion and do the metric fuck tons of quests get the most xp from the quests whereas somone who does one or 2 that wipe wont get as much experience

Have you ever looked into the actual ballistic protection levels of different vests? A level IV is rated against .308 and M62 is just NATO standard, not AP. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_body_armor_performance_standards#NIJ_armor_standard_(United_States)
