Nice setup bro, I got mine ARR edition + HW max10 SCT 120A 4s 3200kv and it runs like an animal on 4s with no problems in the drive lines at all. Perfect setup on 15t pinion and 19T when mounting 1/8 buggy tires on

Can you post something about setting up a new servo/ servo saver on that E5HX and standard radio setup?
have you ever had issues with servo saver hitting the 3660 motor, or motor shaft too long and hitting the receiver box?

very nice of you to give an update on this car! I was looking at the Redcat RC-MT10, but where I am located they are not available (South East Asia). Other than body/wing/remote, are there any difference between the Redcat and TM E5HX? I think the HX has 2 extra rear lights. love the underdogs

Geared to 68mph ish on 4s and 52mph ish on 3s. I think an 11t pinion would be better for temps I think. I guess it depends how long and how hard you run it as well.
What cst oil did you use in your shocks ?

does anyone know if the stock Thor MAX 10 ESC will take 4S as well. its ratet 2-3S , i know that, but it is basically a Hobbywing MAX 10 SCT rebrand and the Hobbywing MAX 10 SCT Will take 4s so i was wondering if anyone knows if the Thor MAX 10 will handle 4s as well??

3500kV and 4s may need a cooling fan, I'd say.
The stock motor was 4400kv on 3S and no fan needed. I've ran it a bit at the front of the house and it didn't get hot at all, it was actually quite normal, so we'll see how it holds up after a solid run at the track.

Here in the US that's a redcat. I'm so done with my redcat TR-MT8E I have 2 of them part and costume service here is absolutely atrocious. They're the only RC cars I've actually gotten completely sick of fixing the same problems over and over and over again. Even under their factory warranty most things are not covered here.
That's a shame, James, I've had a great time with both of mine and the only thing I've wrecked are the bodies. Which is the reason I chose this truck for this system. We'll see how long it lasts with this setup once I get a chance to run it.
@@AussieRCPlayground Well I have the ones you guys call the bird eating spider . And they are just absolutely horrible constantly blowing the diff's to the shocks leaking. I've actually switched the to I have to Arrma shocks because I got so sick of rebuilding the red cat ones. My 2nd one I actually sent back to red cat for warranty repair and to battery packs in to it after i got it back it blew the front diff and spur gear. Just driving on the road
Wow, that's not good at all. Very unfortunate. I love my BES, it's one of the best trucks I've ever owned, I've not had a single issue. And I've jumped that thing pretty hard, double backflips and all. So pretty surprised to hear of your issues... Maybe they're not the same truck after all... 🤷♂️
I have a mt10e, only problem was my servo, it went out and got one off amazon, works better now. The on/off switch is horribly placed from factory. I need to replace that soon. Pretty good car imo
You're an excellent reviewer. I'm sad you lost your connections with Horizon. I don't know if Redcat is available in Australia, but that would be a good brand to cultivate a relationship with. But I think it gives you the opportunity to be a more objective reviewer. Taking product from a manufacturer, compromises your ability to review products. I think people will wait for better, more in depth, critical reviews.
So... is Team Magic a dead company?
