Okay, i watched the nail art part again and what i usually do with this look is instead of taking a milky white i just use a regular white gel polish and mix it with some sort of base coat that doubles as a blooming gel. This way when i do the bubble part it doesn't look too bumpy. Then just take a top coat with some density to it to keep it even more flat on top. I hope that makes sense. Lol!

I missed this nail effect so much! I did it as an ombre with this water effect on the nail bed area and then left the free edge translucent so i could do the 3D hard gel water droplets.
It really gave the whole nail set dimension.

Lol I've gotten into gel x, poly gel, hard gel... Lately I've been focusing on learning how to sculpt hard gel. It's way harder IMO than poly gel. 😅

I thought that using colored nail tips causes the nail glue not to cure fully???
Darker brown color!
They are coming out with full cover nail tips that don't have full opacity to them so that the UV LED light can go through to the gel. It will say it somewhere on the ad when purchasing or in the instructions or somewhere if it can be applied with nail glue gel or just regular nail glue (not gel based)

Blooming gel
Have you tried to do the pool look using blooming gel? Dot the milky white in the blooming gel, then the clear in the white dot? Thats how i dif mine.

I would like to see Tipex Instant Apex XXL Square Acrylic Tips in clear. No one has them. I do not like the pre colored nail tips at all. + Glue Included. That would be great. I liked their Tipex Instant Apex Acrylic tips but they only came in coffin shape. I don’t know how I could get in contact with Tipex Instant Apex. If you could contact them Brandi and let them know. (The Tipex Instant Apex in the purple box).

Using a bigger dotting tool will give you a better “pool” water look. I think the one you were using may have been too small.
Instead of using clear gel, try using blooming gel. That might work a little better.

I like the color but it looks like they're too big for your nail bed especially the middle and the ring. Looks good though
I did not like these. They were so hard and thick even at cuticle edge. Also gel did not cure through them when i tested them. I used the brown
Too many dots and too close together of the blooming gel
Yeah, it definitely does lose the dramatic effect one looks to achieve with this look. I was missing people doing this water effect this year though. I did it a few nail sets ago with the 3D bubbles using hard gel to add dimension. That looked pretty cool.❤
