Its LCB, DM and RW, we need a lb but its not a priority.
We don’t need a lb. More focus should be on a midfielder if anything , because Szoboszlai’s priority should be to play further up. He’s not a good enough 8 for a team that wants to win the big trophies. Curtis Jones is a bench player at best and Harvey Elliot and Gravenberch are both showing high potential but still are more of super-subs rather than midfielders you want to start 50 games a season. Kökçu, or even better: Koopmeiners, should be priority. Robertson and Gomez are more than good enough to play lb, and if we get a LCB, which we need to, he can probably play LB in an emergency too.
I also don’t see why we would need a wide winger, unless Salah leaves. But he is probably staying. Szoboszlai can and should definitely play winger rather than midfielder, there’s no need for a backup. If Salah leaves, we should just spend big for Kudus, or alternatively Nico Williams. I’m not buying the hype about that Bakayoko guy.
Koopmeiners/ Kökçü (preferably Koopmeiners), Wieffer and a LCB like Pacho, Hancko or Inacio should be priority this summer.
CM/CAM are our most stacked positions in the squad, so that transfer doesn't make sense to me, but I guess we'll see if there's any truth to the rumours. I think it's better if we go buy an out and out defensive midfielder like Varela, Ugarte or maybe Wieffer (he can play as an 8 as well, but is very good defensively, so CDM would also work for him) rather than Kökçü who will have Jones, Gravenberch, Macca, Elliot and Szoboszlai as competition for the two 8s or 8 and a 10 roles.
lol no quality player in liverpool midfield beside macca all the other names u mention are good for subs guordiola midfild subs are 10 times better than liverpool main midfield
Jones is honestly not good enough in my opinion. Gravenberch and Elliot have high potential but are still young and better utilized as super subs/ starters in lower-priority competitions; probably not players you want starting 50 games a season just yet. Szoboszlai is an amazing player but definitely not an amazing midfielder. He should player higher up the field, preferably as a winger, even though he CAN do a job in midfield too. MacAllister is a nailed on starter, he is world-class. However, if this midfield is to take a step to the next level; the level of City, Arsenaland Madrid’s midfields, I believe that not Kökçü, but Koopmeiners, is a must buy. One of the best, most intelligent midfielders in the world, someone who could break down sone of the best teams in the world in Liverpool and Leverkusen with his runs and his technique, available for a price of only 60mil. No brainer.

To want a player and to get a player are two different things if we want him we should start to negotiate with his representatives that's the inly way in order to maybe get him.

Dont get me wrong, Kokcu is a fantastic player but according to Slot's style of play he is more of a controlling cm, we have Curtis and Macca for that profile. We don't need him.

I could see Slot bringing Kökçü, but not this summer. He has barely had time to shine at Benfica because of Roger Schmidt.

@@RonnieWave Yeah of course and we know he is good but just because of that it doesn’t mean Liverpool are gonna sign him so more than likely not this coming season. He went for €23m to Benfica and with a fair few reports has a release cause fee of £128m and no one is gonna be mad enough to pay that kind of money.
@@seanpimblett9549 doesnt mean he can only leave at that amount!. If kokcu interested to leave and pushing for it also liverpool are serious both clubs will negotiate the acceptable transfer fees below the release clause.
