If we had De Bruyne, we are not wasting him in a deep number 8 role, we are adjusting the formation. Proof is the fact that when Coutinho was around, Klopp played him a a number 10/very advanced 8 quite a lot and Coutinho played very well in that position. The good thing about this kid is his defensive workrate is quite good. There is no reason we couldn't adjust the formation to have a hybrid 10/8 very advanced have the other 8 play much deeper supporting the 6.

Lot more to it than that. Very different profiles. Carvalho for starters actually has some pace to burn. Thrives in the box and is more of a forward when compared to Harvey.
I think he has more weakness, not as hater but being objective. For example the top speed (he is agile, but in long runs he suffer). And another bad thing is the stability to handle a head to head without end in the ground. He is young, and he can be better on that, Im really not pretending to be hater, Im only analysing the grammar at the start of video. In other way, I have to say that he looks good. It seems to be a prospect to the future.
He should have stayed at Fulham rather than warming on the bench....huge talent will be at shadowed in the likes of mane, salah, jota , diaz, thiago, Firmino and so on.....
