Honestly JM office got nothing to hang their heads for. Played with great chemistry and scored some very pretty goals on a very talented team and goalie. Sales Lucas with 10 saves on 20 shots actually improved over last game (kinda 😅). Love you guys hope to see em in the finals!

Would like it on record that as I watched this game I told everyone on the bleachers I knew how team baggage could beat the worm burners. Everyone saw the impossible and I saw the possible. I felt like a loon on a soapbox. I only spoke in herbs brooks quotes the rest of the tourney.

Man, I love these Warehouse Games but i don't get the thing of putting all the former/current pros on the same team. It doesn't make a David and Goliath Situation, it just takes all the fun out of it. Forgotten Rotten in the blitzball games felt OP but still could definitely be fun to watch, this was just kinda boring.

Blitzball was much closer. If the tournament had been run as it should have with the winner of the winners bracket getting a one game cushion in the final, then I think baggage would have had a very good chance to win the whole thing.

Man this was such a difference. One team ran plays, had a strategy and great passing. The other, passes were incidental and a lot of floundering by some at the ball. The best was the WB’s using Luke to block the goal and shooting through his legs. Effectively cut the reaction distance in half. JM need to pull some tight man
8:17 Joez called them "a running rough shot" 😂 I think JM Office needed to switch to a tight man-to-man defence. WBs were finding space between the zones way too easy and nailing their shots when they were unpressured near the perimeter.
Nah, they needed to keep the lanes instead of following the ball. They routinely would stop following the weak or high side and staying in the passing lane, allowing them to feed someone wide open in the slot. Too much focus on the ball. But really, that's not fair to them anyway, they're playing against a team that is absolutely stacked.

Quick note on Gulbranson, he played at UW-Superior, not "University of Wisconsin". While it may seem like a small distinction, it's actually a pretty big gap. Who thought it would be fair to have a D1 player, a D3 player, and hockey enthusiast on the same team?
As much as I love the leagues having a team of pros (or at least very high level players) play against rookies is just beyond unfair. If the Worm Burners lose this it'll be the biggest upset in history The Miracle on the Floor.

i'm not a hockey player at all. just a casually fan but i feel like they gotta disrupt wormburners passing lanes. make it so they can't pass the ball where ever they want. and also have some faith in the goalie that he can stop something without 3 body's infront of him. i feel like that makes it way harder if your not experienced in between the post

It looks like JM Office is playing defense too close to their goalie and basically setting a screen every time. When they moved forward and gave him room, he played great. It’d also help to move further away and put some pressure on those passes in the triangle formation instead and sitting back and trying to collect a rebound.

Typically announcers will call it as, "behind the net/goal". Hockey is a weird one because it's basically the only sport (and its variants) where the goal isn't at the end of the field of play so there's playable area behind it.
Stop playing so tight to the goal tender and leaving the winger to fire one timers when he feels like it. All your doing is screening to goal tender , and eliminating offensive opportunities. Play out towards him more .. jump on those cross ice passes
