- Really cool to take a look at the new CEN Racing FORD F450 SD KG1 Edition. This 1/10 scale "ready to run" dually is perfect for towing those off road rigs to the trailhead and even gets some air! This release has a few updates on the previous version, including two new color options (red/silver), new KG1 wheels, anodized links, truck bed liner, and aluminum shock bodies. I thought this might end up as a shelf queen but I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had with it and all of the aftermarket upgrades available. In this video, I unbox it, talk about the features and test it on and off road.

I think Cen had good timing with the release as Forza Horizon 5 came out a little earlyer and you can get the F-450 in the game and it is a drift monster. Its on my list of rigs to get. Great review by the way. It handles speed bump jumps pretty well.

Lol yeah it's a bit dated. I guess companies think that most people will already have their own they want to use so they save money with the RTRs by going with a cheap Tx

I wonder if the Redcat gen8 axles would work on this, they have portal axles and always locked diff and they're pretty cheap to get to

Ready to run, but comes without battery and decent charger. Seems to be standard with most brands nowadays. If they don't include them, don't call it RTR. Might seem a detail for people who have batteries and chargers already, but for new people in the hobby not so. Plus it increases the (reasonable or not) price tag again before you're good to go. They should call it, as with RC airplanes, ARTR so that people are aware of it right away. Good video as allways, big weeee.

Bier makes sound kits for semis and you can upload and program what ever sound engine you can find sound files for.

doesn't it come with two gear options? I thought i heard it comes with high and low gear oprions.... but you didn't mention it... so maybe not?

I feel like there is no reason why these companies shouldn't be designing bodies with NO body clips showing! Just takes a little thought on their part to get it done. Especially on scale rigs!
