I love how it’s like you two are having a conversation in clarinets
So true! I thought it was outstanding.
This was an outstanding performance
Hi Michelle,
So I started playing the clarinet only a week or so ago, as I wanted something nice to do over lockdown, and I just wanted to say thank you so much for providing such great lessons through this platform. I’ve found that by watching your videos I could produce a good sound in a matter of only a week - my friend (who has kindly agreed to help teach me) has noticed this and applauded me for it. But really he should be applauding you; you’re a fantastic teacher and really have a way of explaining things in ways that can be easily understood, even to a novice. Without you I don’t think I’d have made a peep!
I hope to continue playing the clarinet for a long time now, as doing so is making me very happy, and am certain I’ll keep coming back to your videos for guidance. You sound fantastic in this video by the way. Wishing you good health in these troubled times.
Stay fabulous,
Tom
This sounds like two clarinets having fun together. Great job!
BEAUTIFUL !!
So great passion, musicality, virtuosity, dynamism, complicity... BRAVA & BRAVO !
Hi Michelle I really enjoyed the duet. Duets are fun.
Thank you, Michelle, for sharing this wonderful piece of music and clarinet virtuosity with all of us clarinet lovers/players in your Mentors community. Such an exciting piece and so expertly performed.

Hi from România. You made me very proud of this music! All your videos are very useful. Thank you very much!
Great Performance. Very musical and entertaining.
Great job Michelle! My best! Gary
Super performance, By the way. Michelle, it appeared to me that your thumb cushion dropped on the floor. If you're looking for it, it fell under the piano.
Hi Jose - very observant of you. You are correct - However, the show must go on!
Clarinet Mentors (Michelle Anderson) Thank you Michelle and you are a real trooper.

This is lovely well done. I love clarinet duets.
What a great piece of music. Well played! I used to play saxophone in HS and I'm going back to it. I've also picked up a clarinet to learn Lots of fun!

Bravissima, Michelle
ahh so fantastic. very pleasing to watch, you both did amazing! the tone is sooo good
Well played! Great performance!
Interesting tone quality. Almost like French horns, especially at the beginning. I’ve noticed this with Backun players compared to for example Buffet players.
Muito bom!!! Parabéns!!!
Wonderful
Very nice performance. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice
Mesmerizing! Sounds so difficult to play. Bravo!
what happened to her?
she's still active on her fb: facebook.com/ClarinetMentors/
This is a beautiful performance but does anyone know where she went?
Idk
Fantastic! That's so good, I said a bad word.
does moving your body more improve tone? I would say that I'm not really a beginner but maybe an advanced and I have the tendency to squick the high C, how can I improve that
liam koga I’m pretty sure most people move around because I’d say it’s more natural, and and you’re putting emotion into it, so adds more musicality in a way, I’d say. I move around when I’m relaxed cause your body is kinda controlling you
Hey Michelle, are you going to post any new videos on this channel soon? Just curious
Very nice work ! Is there any chance to get the score arrangment ?
Bravo!
Possible to find sheet music?
I’m looking for it as well. I love this piece. Impossible to find it in Internet. 😢

No wonder she gives good advice on Clt technique....she can really PLAY.
what is the brand name of the clarinet you play. Does a bigger barrel matter.
I’m having trouble when i first blow a note into the clarinet. there’s always a “tuh” sound and then the notes comes out. I’ve been trying to fix it but i can’t find any tutorials or help online. Do u know anything about this?
Try adjusting the screws to a minimum pressure point in where the clarinet pieces are in a relaxed state, at this moment you will be flatter, and the screws and the mold will reset to a much finer sound. Or maybe purchasing a new reed as great vibration increase the sounds envelop like a sweet cake on Wednesday. This, of course, is achieved easily with the help of a repair person, or maybe ask someone who specializes in your issues. Perhaps, your technique needs to get refined. The problem can, in fact, be a mechanical problem or simply your fault.
Taxonomic Quantum it’s most likely something technically related because i just got a brand new clarinet. I was never taught how to properly blow into the clarinet and never really took clarinet seriously until recently so i wanted to fix this because it gets really annoying when i’m listening to myself on recordings. Do u have any videos or tips?
