Compared to some of its neighbors, Kenya is a relatively peaceful country. It doesn't have social or political unrest. I think that is part of the reason why Kenyans who live abroad return home and invest

l dont think that golf course is worth 650 million dollars, maybe 650 million Kenya shillings, our economy cannot support such an expensive golf course.

Golf estate...Golf course is part of it..There is residential areas of phase 1 ,2 and 3...owned by individuals.Its pretty much a gated community.Am a proud owner there.what does government has to do with supporting?? My goodness

Its is possible. I think the land alone is 800 acre..or something like that. Land in Thika is expensive. I see phase 2 alone has 860 plots and such buildings are expensive. Tatu city will consume around $4B when all done.
Now they need to sponsor you and the wife for a full-week so you can give them a full-weeks review.

I'm assuming it's an entirely built up neighborhood with land costs and Infrastructure costs included.
Cannot comment on valuation without all facts in hand but I'm sure the valuation is for the entire estate.
Did you consider: 1700 Acres, actual houses, golf resort, golf course, roads, school, water and electricity, plus from the website - retirement village, shopping mall etc etc.
Guys the video showed 10% of the development which is phase 2...Actually phase 1 consist of more than 300+luxurious house each estimated at average 35M...
