It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. Kenya is filled with so many hidden gems. In this video, I explore Tigoni in Kenya. One of the most beautiful villages I ever explored. It filled beautiful tea and coffee plantations. Let's explore this part of Kenya together.

    My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
    My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
    My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
    Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.

    WOW !!! I am seriously impressed by Kenya , more the countryside than the city even .Most African countries capital can look really nice but the façade starts to crack once you leave the capital .This is so beautiful and so well maintained ..This is so green and lush .I live in a suburb here in the US which was built in 1980 and we have the same lush greenery every where with 40 foot trees, its like living in a forest !! That's why I so hate the current practice of building in West Africa where by all the greenery is removed and replaced with concrete!! Your reaction to this place says it all. It doesn't matter how amazing the houses they build look, green spaces are so relaxing ,plus they attract birds !

    • @lifehacks1019
      @lifehacks1019 Před 9 měsíci +12

      Nice observation! 👍
      In Kenya one must allocate green space to any construction development before approval especially government funded ones. That's why you'll find tree and flower nursery business booming because they're in high demand from contractors and individual builders.
      We all should learn to live with nature or at least accommodate it in our spaces

    As a user of Uber and bolt in Kenya I realized that the reason the drivers call to ask where you are going and where you are is because the apps tend to be jumpy especially bolt they get thrown off by the apps locator and get frustrated, they also end up incurring high costs if they don't use short cuts which the apps don't show the apps tend to take them the other way around so bolt and Uber need to update the apps regularly so that the drivers can rely on them fully.

    Beautiful Limuru Tea fields. Good for a Sunday drive or cycling in the bushes, like the guys you passed. Though this is the higher side of Nairobi, you should visit Kitengela, the dry plains with wildlife for a contrast.

    When the British settlers came to Kenya, they carved out the best places and called them white Highlands 🤣🤣🤣.
    But to give credit where its due, the coffee and tea plantations they established are a sight to behold.
