Came looking how to re-install the rear panoramic glass. Didn’t get that answer at all, but if I ever need to vacuum broken glass, I’ll be armed with the knowledge form your video.

Yes, my sunshade liner in sagging as well, wow! BMW LOL. Mine is sagging on the front left side. Thank you for the video. I also watched videos on how to remove the sunshade after the glass is removed. Thank you for all you do with these videos.

@kurtsurber5801 Were you able to remove the sunshade from above once the large glass panel was removed? How difficult was it to re-install/re-align everything?

Thanks or the informative video in regards to this, I kinda shelved fixing my sunroof for awhile for the reason of not been told with 100percent certainty that you can remove the glass safely that way, now when it's sunny I may have another attempt at repairing it, thanks mate
My e83 just broke a few weeks ago, hoping mine is this easy....
All I learned about how to replace the same exact piece is there are 3 torx screws and vacuum glass. This video wasn't helpful. Now I'm desperate. Thank you.

Great video. I have an E70 and I’m afraid to open my roof as I noticed some damage to the sliding mechanism the last time it was open and it took a while to get it closed. I saw some repair kits online for replacing all the bigs in the sliding mechanism. Can you please tell me if those can be replaced without taking out the entire sunroof?
If you remove the sunroof glass for access I would expect you to be able to access the sliders.

Do you know the partnumber for the part? Cant seem to find it anywhere, only partnr for the glass only. Or is the glass glued to the ”frame” part?
