Yeh you would Eva, you wouldn't be able to help yourself. You would fall in LOVE with the beautiful sounds that you and it would create together.
For what it's worth, through out my long life I have found that, no matter what it is that you wish to purchase, then, ' There is NO substitute for QUALITY'!
The thing about a really nice instrument is that it's hard to put them down. In the greater scheme of things, $1,000 for a really good instrument isn't much. That would be a pretty decent mandolin, a mid range student violin. An OK cello.... a low quality double bass....
@@anthonytaylor9232 I would play it but I imagine handling and moving it around could be a bit unnerving with a child around. I don't wish to worry about humidity issues potentially damaging high end solid wood either. So honestly I can live without it because I know I can get a decent quality uke for a lot less. Also would not be comfortable spending 1k.

I purchased a $15 soprano uke about 2 years ago and picked it up occasionally. I found your video for twinkle twinkle little star a couple of months ago and was playing it in one day. I really love you channel and you've helped me to play this wonderful instrument, so much so that I look forward to playing it everyday now. I'm so glad to find you. My little ukelele is expected to arrive (by UPS) today. It's just a little one, but good for learning. Guitar was too much, but it seems that Ukelele is so much simpler. This, I just learned after almost 60 years. It seems that Patreon memberships go from the 1st to the end of the month, so I plan to join on April 1. Thank you for being here.

It's weird how a thousand dollar uke is insane when a thousand dollar guitar is like pretty average
It's all a matter of exposure I think. If you go into an ukulele shop you'll see mostly higher end ones, same with guitar shops. I spent more on both of my ukuleles than I spent on my Taylor guitar. But you can get, say, a mass-manufactured solid-top ukulele (like a Kala, normal made-in-china solid-top mahogany) cheaper than you can a similar solid-top guitar. It is less materials, but I think the market in general is a larger influence.
Humidifier definite need in dry places. My daughters play cello, and violin. They struggle with dryness January/February. My violin daughter has just started play ukelele. Love the videos.

First of all, those ukuleles are the bommmb. I dont have a Patreon acc I've been convincing my parents to make me one but unfortunately they always say No. I'm only 11 years old and yes I do have a ukulele, a concert on but unfortunately, while I was attempting to play "Grow Old with you" by Adam Sandler the string popped right onto my face it's not surprising because I bought the ukulele less than 500 PESOS. And now, I'm trying to save up money to buy a good quality ukulele. And Ukuleles are very expensive here in the Philippines but still the choices are in your hand. BTW, I learned playing "Grow Old With You" by watching your video :).

Oh my god the resonator uke is BEAUTIFUL and that final one, I would kill for just the case never mind the $1000 uke, you looked practically emotional about playing it. To whoever gets that, that's an amazing Christmas present. I kind of wish they would let you have one, after all the work you have done for them and us.

I own a resonator ukulele, it’s easily the best instrument I’ve ever bought. I love the tone to death and I couldn’t recommend any other instrument more.

What a nice packing!! I bought my first uke, the only one I have 'till now, from China. I came broken :/ the box was too tight and soft, so any hits to the box also hit the uke directly... I can't still play it, good enough to learn.

That's awesome😍. I've noticed that you have the same speech impediment that my son had. It's easy to correct if you realize your tongue placement in your mouth. Simply practice closing your teeth together and say many words with the letter 's'. The tip of your tongue needs to relax in your closed mouth when you make the 's' sound. If you practice for a few weeks your tongue and mouth (And ear) will readjust your speech pattern to be able to articulate properly. I hope you're not offended...you're my favorite youtube channel. I am a speech expert and I didn't even realize my son had an impediment until I watched him on a video (and I promptly coached him to articulate properly). So it's normal to over look such a thing when you're used to the way you sound.
