If curry only has green when klay Thompson, is out and the same going for Jonathan Kuminga, of course he's gonna cry. How is he trying to chips for the warriors while Draymond is having temper tantrums and Kuminga is still on injury while klay is also out. Healthy (which they are) and developed, they are way closer to legitimately being the 10-2 team in the last 12 games (both losses by narrow margins in close games to great playoff teams) than they are to the 36-34 team their record shows in the first 70 games. Multiple times we saw them clicking and healthy and they ran off nice win streaks against great competition, while playing an insane amount of games that went down the wire against the top teams in the NBA (OKC, Minnesota, etc). Just looking at them on paper is SCARY - they read like a #1 seed. Curry, still a bonafide superstar and top 3 offensive player in the NBA, led the league in clutch performance by a wide margin this year, largest center of gravity in the history of the game. Draymond Green, who frankly has played his best basketball in years since returning from the suspension - shooting better, yes, but his defense is truly at its top level. Andrew Wiggins, who had a terrible first half of the season, has ending it on highs in all categories and has really locked in - he's an elite wing defender, and a very capable scorer. Jonathan Kuminga is probably going to be a legit superstar - he averaged nearly 25 pts a game for a 20 game stretch, his defense is close to Wiggins level, another elite wing defender - he's really come into his own this year and he's a huge two-way threat. Klay Thompson's last month and a half has him shooting over 41% from 3, 46% from the field and almost 20 points per game on +7 when he's on the court - the "fell-off" narrative is over. If that wasn't enough, the bench is the best in the NBA. Chris Paul has actually been incredible all year off the bench, his shot and scoring have picked up in the latter half of the season, while his direction of the bench unit is tops in the league. Podz is a 1st team all-rookie, incredible team player, rebounder, can create his own shot, shoot well, led the league in charges, etc. Trayce has been a revelation for them at the 5, his efficiency, rebounding, defense and passing all seemingly coming out of nowhere from a late 2nd round draft pick. GPII is widely considered among the best defense players in the league, a true specialist, one of the best attitudes and teammates in the league. Moody is a slept-on contributor here who can go off offensively and be a nice option on the perimeter, while playing excellent wing defense. They're definitely one of the most dangerous low seeds EVER; that's not stupidity, that's just logic.
