Thanks! I use Guitar Rig 5. The 'secret' is a parametric equalizer. I give it a very very big bump in the 300-800 Hz range (stop bumping when it start sounding exactly like a cocked wah) and use the volume on the equalizer as my main source of oevrdrive. I model that into a generic bass amp.
