MOPAR & GM V8 COLD START Compilation!

All cold starts were shot on the same day. All cars were not fired up for about 2 weeks. Outside temperature 0 degrees Celsius.
1966 Impala SS 327 SBC NO CHOKE, Edelbrock 1405, Flowmaster 40 series, long tube headers.
1962 Chrysler 300 Stock 383 with 4bbl Holley street avenger no choke. The last time the car was runnig it ran out of fuel. Before recording cold start I poured fresh fuel, that's why it starts so hard....to keep the battery from running down I poured fuel directly into carb.
1967 Dodge Charger has stock 1993 318 Magnum motor which is multi point injection so it starts like a new car. It has single exhaust with flowmaster 40 series.
1967 Chrysler Newport 383 BB mopar , Comp Cams XE274H, True dual , Thrush Welded, stock hp manifolds, Brawler 750 DP Electric Choke.
1964 Chevrolet Impala stock 327 SBC , True Dual with mini glasspacks, Edelbrock 1405 no choke.

it's always good to see when someone overseas actually knows how to start and warmup these beasts properly, without just pumping the pedal and flooding it up then revving it hard while the engine is cold. Thanks for the compilation!

Great video. The auto choke worked good on that ' 67 Chrysler. Manual choke cars back in the day always started up quickly if you knew how to operate it. Nice job & great cars!

Beautiful collection of classic American steel. Some started up pretty well while a few were more of a struggle and needed a lot more pumping of the gas pedal. Some models like gas a lot more than others on cold starts. Maybe next time, bring the camera with you inside the vehicle and show the cold start from that perspective. That would be very cool. Thanks for sharing!
