- Internal Combustion Engines (IC Engines) where ruling the Automotive sector for more than a century. But now, Electric Vehicles have started to emerge followed by Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles. In This Video, we make a comparative study between these technologies.
നമ്മുടെ ഓട്ടോമൊബൈൽ field ഒരു വലിയ വഴിത്തിരിവിലെത്തി നിൽക്കുകയാണ്.
ഏകദേശം ഒന്നര നൂറ്റാണ്ടായി പെട്രോളും ഡീസലും പോലുള്ള ഫോസിൽ fuel ലുകൾ ഇന്ധനമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചു വന്നിരുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും, ഇലക്ട്രിക്ക് വെഹിക്കിൾ അഥവാ ev, ഹൈഡ്രജൻ fuel cell വെഹിക്കിൾസ് മുതലായവയിലേക്കു തിരിയാനുള്ള വഴി തിരിവ്.
ഇലക്ട്രിക്ക് വെഹിക്കിൾസ് ആൾറെഡി പ്രചാരത്തിൽ ആയി തുടങ്ങി, ഹൈഡ്രജൻ fuel സെൽ അത്രക്കങ്ങോട്ടു പ്രചാരത്തിലായിട്ടില്ല. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ആയേക്കാം. എന്നാലും ഇപ്പോളും അരങ്ങു തകർക്കുന്നത് ഫോസിൽ fuel വാഹനങ്ങൾ തന്നെ ആണ്. അവയുടെ മേൽക്കോയ്മ ഇത് വരെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല.
ഇത്രയും കാലം ഈ മേഖലയിൽ പിടിച്ചു നിൽക്കാൻ പെട്രോൾ ഡീസൽ വണ്ടികൾക്ക് എന്ത് മേന്മയാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇപ്പൊ മാറി ചിന്തിക്കാൻ എന്താണ് കാരണം.
അങ്ങനെ മാറി ചിന്തിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ തന്നെ ഇലക്ട്രിക്ക് വെഹിക്കിൾ ആണോ, അതോ ഹൈഡ്രജൻ fuel സെൽ വണ്ടികളാണോ നല്ലതു.
മാത്രമല്ല നമുക്ക് അറിയാവുന്ന ഹൈഡ്രജൻ ഒന്നേ ഉള്ളു. പ്രിത്യേകിച്ചു കളറുകൾ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു വാതകമാണ് അത് എന്നാൽ പിന്നെ എന്താണ് ഈ ബ്ലൂ ഹൈഡ്രജനും ഗ്രേ ഹൈഡ്രജനും ഗ്രീൻ ഹൈഡ്രജനുമൊക്കെ.

What is the advantage if water is split to hydrogen and oxygen through electrical method and then the same hydrogen is used in fuel cell to create electricity for running a vehicle?
You have to spend more electricity to make the hydrogen than the electricity the resultant hydrogen would generate
