Oh bless you... Watching Apocalyptica as an "interval act" when I went to see the Eurovision Song Contest, made me switch from the violin to the cello... this original video version is a little "muted".. you should check out their live version of this, much more beautiful in my opinion. My deepest condolences for your (and your family's) loss.
This was what put Apocalyptica on the global map...so beautiful, and so unique, at the time of original release!
They also toured with Sabaton, even joining them on stage for a few songs.
I can respect your sorrow I lost my aunt in April and that makes my mother feeling rather lonely as well.
This is a beautiful song and the cello only enhances the emotions.
My favourites VoicePlay did an equally emotional acapella version of in November that shook the acapella community and I can't wait until you get around to their version.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my aunt a few months ago. She was my mom's youngest sister and closer to my age than my mom. She was like the older sister I didn't have. All we can do is be there for each other. You picked a beautiful song as a tribute.
