Types of Butane gas

- The two types of Butane gas you can get for butane gas lighters.
Normal cheap butane gas, suitable for the majority of butane lighters and refined or filtered butane that is designed for high performance jet lighters, putting cheaper butane in jet lighters will cause them to clog after a while due to impurities in the gas.
However refined butane costs a lot more so putting it in normal lighters will simply make them unnecessarily expensive to refill.

I’ve used both brands Ronson and Newport leave dirty carbon impurities. Generally as a guide the “yellow” refills are more dirty. Go for Zippo or Colibri and most refills that are used in soldering. I kid you not as I have been working with many different brands and it’s a bit of trial and error or quality.
It’s science. Newport is nowhere near as dirty as it’s heavily refined. Ronson leaves everything black and broken. Big difference.

What u ended up doing was getting a 25 dollar dab torch(butane) and using the usual normal labled Ronson thats in the vid, just ordered premium fuel and exact same torch in case, ill be back to lyk results
It's like petrol with cars mate, the higher-end ones use higher-end fuel.

Nope, it will just sit somewhere quality wise between the two things. Like mixing high quality and low quality gasoline etc in a car.

Thanks for this - I thought I was buying a decent brand when I bought Ronson or Swan for my jet lighters - My jet lighters have been dying after a year of daily use even though they have 2 year warranty, I guess this is the reason why. I will try out this Newport brand with a new lighter and see how it goes. Can you suggest any other brands as good as Newport for jet lighters? Thanks again!
I've only ever used Newport, the main issue is just getting "ultra refined" fuel etc.

i use bull brand get it in bulk off ebay,nice specs fella may get a pair for myself when i have my next eye test im wearing nhs at the moment.
Thanks, they're Ray Ban ones, cost a lot more than getting the NHS covered frames but as I wear them most days and my eyesight hasn't changed much in 4 years I thought they're a good use of money.

I've mostly given up but I smoke a cigar every now and then.
I like collecting lighters anyway, they don't take up much space and are quite handy to have.

I've never had a problem with my gas lighter using the cheap stuff just shake the can we'll before use

I use newport fuel for my zippo jet lighter but I tend to waste alot of fuel while fueling the lighter. (fuel comes out) can you make a tutorial?
Is the fuel pin of the lighter a modern universal type or a specific different size?
If it's smaller than regular ones, use an adaptor on your butane can.

As long as the M65 fits your face properly then no.

Yeah pretty much, you could just get some cheap surplus masks are they would all work fairly well, I might do some Halloween videos on gas mask costumes though.

They clog up pretty fast
Lighters will generally be ok but torches will not perform well or prematurely break by clogging by black soot
