Thank you so much for telling me about wellman boat ramp at Caesar’s Creek. I caught 3 largies and 2 saugeye!
You're welcome brother, glad you caught something! Tight lines
I remember the snake and the huge saugeye from that area last year. Glad you had fun.
Wow you really remember, trust I opened my eyes well this time haha. thanks tight lines
I think a lot of eating the fish is based off location. From my understanding the ODNR reccomends not eating anything from Dayton to the OHIO river. Anything north is safe to eat. In general they recommend only eating 2-3 times a year out of local streams
Nice fish! Years ago I caught two walleye out of the GMR near Sidney that were both 24" long. Caught one on a spinnerbait and the other on a crankbait.
Saugeye
Love watching you fish
Thanks brother - tight lines 🎣
Couple more weeks and I'll be joining you , Sir. I'm itching to get out. Nice fish brother.
Heck yeah can’t wait brother!
Got a kayak to use now as well. Should get all three of us out there sometime. Should make a challenge out of it... unless you're too scared 🤣
1 biggest fish
2 most fish
3 biggest loser (buys Chick-fil-A dinner)
@@andrewmeineke4696 I like this deal haha, the pressure is on lmao
Where is a good spot to put a kayak in the river in Middletown?
Not really any boat ramp around Middletown to launch a kayak, unless you pack it a good way, course right by the Trenton bridge is a car park, right near the bike path you know? You wouldn’t have to pack your kayak too far to the river from there and your vehicle will be legally parked, anywhere else off the levy and the conservancy and Middletown police or Butler county may get on you.
That’s the Miami conservancy, their the ones who overlook and take care of the levy around butler county.
Great video bro you got some talent keep goin
Thank you and for watching! Tight lines
You’ll be fine eating Saugeye and that out of the great Miami, just the carp and cats you don’t want to eat. Any bottom feeding fish you don’t want to eat.
You would of been fine to eat the Saugeye out of the Great Miami. Bottom feeders (aka carp and catfish) are the species you might want to press pause on. However, even that channel cat would of been fine to eat just a couple.
Cool video!
Thanks for the information brother, I will give it a try to see if they taste any different from the ones in the lakes - tight lines!
What spillway is that?
Dp&l spillway
You can’t eat out of that river
Everyone have their own opinion by looking at the comment section haha, thanks for the feedback! Tight lines
Don't blame you one bit for not eating fish from the GMR. Just...no thanks ✌️
I guess we think the same 😂🤣 tight lines brother
