In an age of beige people I like Chapman. He has a big personality and has an opinion. Naturally that divides views but characters are what make the world more interesting.

He’s not for everyone, but he’s genuine, and in this day and age, it’s pretty hard to come across someone like that. Spoken to him a few times at racing and he’s in it for the right reasons
He has a valid point that the gambler takes a punt, what about the high street bookmakers that find excuses to pay out on legitimate wins, though I don't know how frequently this goes on it does ,so they to have a duty to not to renege a winner

It's a positive from me on Chapman , he's definitely in it for himself but he also wants the general horse racing enthusiasts to have as much limelight as himself

The man who blocks everyone on X who happens to disagree with him. On a recent podcast he said he only blocks people who used swear words. Untrue he blocked me for asking , does he have any trouble getting his bets on with soft bookmakers ?

He is "of the time" in the days of multiple presenters and a bit of a John McCrirrick clone. I prefer the days when BBC was just O'Sullevan, Wilson and Graham; and ITV were usually just John Rickman, John Penney and Raleigh Gilbert.

when he was on ATR i liked him but since he has gone to ITV he is unbearable.....constantly ridiculing peoples opinions if they are not the same as his .......watch how he is when he is the presenter of the opening show and when he is on but not the presenter its stark....when he is presenter he is nice to his fellow guests and the show is light hearted and very good....but when he is not the presenter he tries his best to sabotage it .

cant agree with what he said about not refunding horses that dont get out the stalls. it could be a mechanical fault for example. What Paddy Power has done to get punters on side with their offers, promos etc makes u feel they understand what makes punters tick - thats why theyve done so well. ladbrokes and hills take note.
