Seeing how Geno Smith has been playing and how Russ has been playing it almost gets you wondering if the QB magic is actually in Seattle when we all thought it was in Russell
Facts. Seattle brings out the strengths of mediocre players.
And Matt Hasselback
It's definitely Russ but Seattle. Geno is not Russ and never will be. He was a backup for a reason. He's pretty much a game manager for Seattle right now. If you make Geno have to play the entire game with his arm, he's not going to beat you. STOP IT! Russ is in his own head right now and it's hurting him BAD. He's showing signs of being washed but I just think he has a offensive coordinator who is not ready to be a HC.
@@kertveira Geno is the only reason we’re not 0-5. I think he’s a bit more than a game manager
@@kertveira you clearly haven’t watched a single Seahawks game this season LMAO
“Broncos country, I’m tired “ 😂
Never forget when he wore his own throwback to training camp
I especially loved the tuxedo he was rocking at the presser after the loss in Seattle and showing up in full uniform and pads for the media 45 minutes after the loss to Indy. Kyle Brandt nailed it: Russell Wilson is a poser.
As a Hawk fan who still loves Russ for everything he did for the city and franchise Kyle Brandt is 100% spot on
People in the Mariner’s suites hated serving him because he is not nice. Is also over needy. Know 3 people who work there. Then he married his wife and changed for the worst
My man secured the championship and now secured the bag, he’s done
Anyone hating on russ now is failing in their own lives lol. People have ups and downs, its normal.
I think you forget he left to get more championships he didnt think he could get in Seattle.
Yep, when he started demanding a new contract after he was traded I knew he was toast.
I thought he had 1 more good year in him but I guess I was wrong. QBs usually play out of their mind after a trade, Russ is acting like DEN is equivalent of the old retired man working at Walmart.
@@kevinleewilliams5119 Lol! Well... when you come in promising multiple Championships... and get a new 200 million plus contract without throwing a pass... you better perform - and he ain't lol
@@lakeozarkrei3767 he isn't even the worst team in his division 😂 keep that energy for that bum ass Derek Carr, o but he is white so we won't say too much
The big “let’s ride” belt buckle shining in the corner of the desk makes this whole conversation funny to me for some reason 😂😂
I think this shows how well Pete can keep things taped together. He finds a way to get people to play nice with each other.
Yeah Pete's actually a good coach
Petes a good coach but much different situation in Denver. New coach, new QB, new offensive system it’s gonna take time.
solid point
I agree but let's address our defense bc wtf
@Garlic Maioli right DQ would have this unit in the 10, or at least 15... And not giving up 160ypg, 3-4 or not..
It doesn’t make sense for him to abandon it when it’s primarily how he trains
yet he sort of has. that is partially on him, as it is his body, but the coaches are calling the plays and should be putting his qb in a position for success. that's his whole job. kind of annoying, but I mean russ gets a bag either way so if I was him I wouldn't be upset 🤷♂️
@@ImStillLandy money isn't everything dude.
@@ImStillLandy he has always struggled throwing over the middle and he always relied on escaping and throwing to the outside and teams have caught on.
@@bullshark3771 exactly. But now he's not even rolling out at all. He's purposely doing what he sucks at.

As someone in the Seattle market, who listened to my parents watch Hawks games every Sunday, it’s no coincidence that the Seahawks started to go downhill when Marshawn Lynch left. People seem to have forgotten he was part of the team. And yes, Russ would run. My parents, rightly or wrongly Point the change to Russ to when he married Ciara. That’s when team 3 became a problem.
I agree 100% with your parents. Once he married Ciara, everything changed. It became about the brand of Russell Wilson.
@@evergreenrider No doubt.
Broncos Country, Im Old
It was always Marshawn Lynch’s offense in Seattle
Truth
Yeah, Shaun Alexander setup the identity of the Seahawks and Marshawn carried that on. I liked Chris Carson but he wasn’t to that caliber. Same with Penny and all the injuries. Having a dominant power runner is the heart of Seattle’s offense and it hasn’t been the same without it. Guess we get to see what Ken Walker can bring now.
I recall a divisional playoff game a few years ago (Jan 2020 I believe) ... SEA @ GB. During the first half, GB was dominating them and Wilson was doing hardly anything as he wasn't using his mobility. Eventually, Wilson started scrambling and he was a totally different player. They almost completed the comeback from down 21-3. If Wilson doesn't use his mobility then he's a fraction of what he was.
Yes. This is because of his size. He is too small to play a standard NFL style.
Almost?
This the issue with all these young triple threat QB’s. By the time they’re 30 and the mobility it lost, they can’t rely as much on their arm.
Right and if his coach is designing plays to negate the scrambling then there is nothing russ can do.
@@IsaacMSingleton1 a team/coach should never have to alter an offense to fit a QB's style. Seattle was a perfect example of this.
Darius is a great addition to the show
Russel Wilson is a really good qb. He thinks too highly of himself though and it hurts his team.
** russell wilson is a mediocre QB that holds onto the ball too long and can't see over the o line and cant pass to the middle of the field.** but hey, hes good at social media marketing..... There I fixed it for you.
Naw it’s ciara
Ciara is relevant again so put one and one together
@@pauliegleav7558 Yeah man, yeah.
Never listen to somebody who tells you that you "think to highly of yourself", they are losers 100% of the time.
Russ is kinda washed not gonna lie, it’s sad because I loved watching his play :(
Maybe it's like Cam Newton where once past his prime, double-threat QB is no longer that much of a threat.
🎯
Russell in Seattle had similar issues but they weren't nearly as bad. From my perspective:
While in Seattle his strengths were -
• Beautiful deep ball (Best in NFL)
• Physical quickness inside / outside pocket
• Great improv skills to make something out of nothing
• Big in clutch moments
• Infectious Positive Attitude
While In Seattle his weaknesses:
• Throws / Reads over the middle were below average at times
• Once his speed declined he became more predictable
• Holds on to the ball a tick longer than ideal
• Offensive Line Inconsistency
• At some point he became more focused on being "the guy" than the team winning no matter what
• LOB Defense fell apart in 17'. Defense has been bad since 18' (At least with regards to yards given up)
• Haven't found a viable replacement for Lynch since 15' - (Rawls hurt, Carson retired, Penny hurt)
Russ in Denver:
• Poor decision making at times
• Deep ball accuracy is off (Could be the shoulder? Who knows)
• Lack of chemistry with skill guys
• Mobility is about the same as it was the last few years in SEA
• Holds onto ball too long
• Positive Attitude
Looking at Seattle's offense now, Geno is playing out of his mind and I think its because he has a young talented line and he doesn't hold the ball nearly as long as Russ did. This trade was vital for both parties as well. Pete gets a reset with personel and can restock his team with quality draft capital and Russ gets a chance to flex his skills and show he can have a Mahomes / Brady type influence on a team. It's off to a rough start for Denver.
The idea that he was gonna just pop over and make it work better than in Seattle was a gamble for sure. Russ is a talent and can be a top guy in the league but the way the AFC is its gonna be a lot more difficult. Russ wanted this to be perfect optically and I think the slogan stuff is a distraction as well. Denver also is dealing with injuries to key players and that def is a huge factor.
Everything will work out the way it should. Russ got what he wanted and now ALL of the pressure and focus is on him and it's ultimately his duty to produce. Let's see how the remainder of the year goes...
It’s to many words man
@@HGLB IM SAYIN
Bro just wrote a novel
@@HGLB It must be copy and pasted from somewhere else
Definitely Russ poop
I can’t believe Russ is playing like this. Y’all stay blessed
It’s almost like Pete Carroll designed the office to keep Russ mobile lol
Pete was Russ biggest supporter ever, but Russ just threw him under the bus.
It was Russell's style of play. He is doing it in Denver and holds onto the ball too long. It didn't matter who Seattle drafted or traded for the offensive line looked the same every year.
I love Pete, but that's a creative way of saying they were unable to get a somewhat decent oline together lma
Russ made a statement awhile back in Seattle saying that he no longer wanted to use his legs as much, but instead wanted to be a pocket passer or something.
He wants to be a pocket passer but also wants 15 seconds to throw the ball
He’s short to be a pocket passer. He needs to scramble so he can see.
same mistake that Mike Vick made
@@michaeljones-um8sn Vick going to jail did him over
Did homie with the mullet really just ask if a shoulder injury would affect a deep ball? Like am I trippin or isn’t that wild obvious…
Wilson reminds me of Donavan McNabb at the end when he played with the Redskins and Vikings
can't wait for this chant in Denver "WE WANTED AARON RODGERS!"
“For SOOOO LONG!!!” - Connor at the end 😂
He needs Tyler locket, that guy is like megatron to him, he’s had him most of his career and he’s pretty much been the most clutch receiver ever with russ, and Russ needs to work on leading his targets more it’s nothing about being mobile
jermaine kearse, golden tate, and doug baldwin were his original wrs. lockett came later
@@ZL8R Doug played the Lockett role before Lockett, I think he was expecting Jerry Jeudy to play a similar role and Sutton to play the DK role, neither are working out as well as DK and Lockett
@@ZL8R I know but lockets pretty much been there 7 years with him that’s a pretty long stretch for a wr qb duo
Leading his receivers is why his last throw in SBXLIX ended in the result it did... Seems pretty simple why he's struggling now... Pete and Bevell(or Shotty or whoever) adapted their schemes to Russ and his strengths(along with their philosophy of run game, stingy RedZone D, control ball & t.o.p.; hit the big play off of play action) whereas Hackett seems to be trying to plug Russ into his offense... And Hackett's getting eaten up by the media even though he's mentioned how he sends in multiple plays into the huddle.. idk but add Russ pressing as the cherry on top and that's why their O looks terrible
Russ has always had issues seeing the whole field. His whole career he’s missed the middle of the field at 15 yards or less. Teams know that.
You know that empty used tube of toothpaste…that’s Wilson
The secret is in the Seahawks Gatorade buckets. Geno playing like the second coming of Warren Moon.
Doesn't help that his WRs aren't as good as Lockett or DK
He choose to leave them though 🤨 Sutton and jeudy aren’t scrubs either
It’s funny though, are those two really better than DK and Tyler? Tyler is Doug Baldwin on steroids and DK is his own animal.
@@ap396z Really? every time i watch Jeudy he drops everyting
@@ap396z They're not bad, that's it. No where near the level of Seattle's WR core. Tim Patrick is better than both but he went down
@@iaintwritebacktho7230 yeah I agree. But again, he literally chose to leave them. He literally choose his new team with his no trade clause. Wild
It's because he never had the soft skills to be a pocket passer
Nathaniel Hackett and Josh McDaniels arguably the 2 worst coaches in the league rn
Brandon Staley is being carried by a talented roster. His team is literally winning in spite of him.
So a major problem with Russ, is that he is in a true west coast offense for the first time. Russ has never truely had to play with timing, make reads every down, and stay in a pocket. 1. He’s short, and it’s hard to see above his o-line. 2. Timing… 5 step, 7 step. This is the first time he’s truly had to do that. 3. In Seattle for most of his career he has a terrible line. So his first read is only what he had time for, before he had to make magic happen. So now, Russ has a bad habit of only looking at his first read before looking to escape. Russ could be great, but he needs to go back to basics and rebuild himself into a Drew Brees esc qb if he wants to succeed in a west coast system
Seahawks wanted Russ to play with timing. He just couldn't do it on a regular basis.
If you to watch the all 22s videos from Seattle you would see lots of WRs open on the break but, Russ rarely saw them himself. He would not of had to scramble so often if he would hit the open Wr on the quick routes or on the Hot reads.
It's year one week 6. Mans spent his whole career with one team, one facility, one training staff it's a full on adjustment, and also maybe this head coach is clueless (remains to be seen)
As a Bolt fan I expect the Donkeys to look GREAT this weekend and come out victorious
His legs seem completely done. Without his abilities to scramble, you are left with an undersized pocket passer.
I told one of my workers this yesterday. Russ never really had an o-line in Seattle but he had legs and great moves to escape the pressure - he simply does not have the legs to be able to escape a collapsing pocket and make things happen anymore. I said it from the rip - signing him for THAT much money is one of the worst contracts I've ever seen. Haynesworth-like.
The opposite to not really having an o-line is that he held onto the ball way too long. He's been known for it throughout his career. Sure the o-lines he had in Seattle weren't great, but his actions to hold onto the ball a lot longer than most ever would, also have to make him accountable too.
His lack of height also plays a factor to why he holds onto the ball a lot longer. He barely throws over the middle as a result of it.
The real cost is having given up two 1sts and two 2nds to Seattle in the next two drafts. Wow. That defense is gonna be really young and fast and good!
And yet in one year we have a fine o-line and now denver doesn’t? I think RW convinced us likes he’s convincing them that it’s the o-line. Burrow had a terrible o-line and instead of blaming, they worked to get the ball out of his hands quicker.
I somewhat disagree he put alot and I mean alot of pressure on all of his offense lines bailing out of pocket early and not getting rid of ball quick between the hash marks. Imagine having to hold blocks as long as Hawks O line had to do. On top of that his three and outs are way to many.
Russ had an o-line a good deal of the time. Russ caused a majority of his sacks by holding the ball too damn long. He made magic with that but also made his line look worse. Not many o-lines block well for 6 seconds.
Yes... just like every "mobile" quarterback when they get older.
I'm convinced Russell wants passing records so bad, he would rather pass as a first option every time, even if a run is the better play.
The Kurt Warner breakdown explains it pretty well, Russ isn’t see his reads and it’s all fixable question is how long will that take
Wilson has always been poor with pre and post snap reads. His game is RPO and the 9 route
People like myself who have actually watched Russ play throughout his entire career knew this was going to happen. I'll admit, I was about 6 weeks off from my prediction though. I thought videos like this would surface around Thanksgiving (American Thanksgiving that is).
It's not a sustainable play style at a position where it's now expected that high level players continue to play at I high level into their 40s.
So you believed that once his mobility went away his weaknesses were going to be exposed? I’d love to hear more detail on what you think
as opposed to what other thanksgiving ?
@@daltonvalero2772 the country 👆🏼 there
@@daltonvalero2772 the Canadian Thanksgiving that just happened 2 days ago.
How many seattle fans have been telling everyone this ,he's always relied on his athletic ability and escapability .He can't be a pocket passer when he doesn't throw to the middle and doesn't properly diagnose the defense at the line .yall are late
Isn’t that the problem with every mobile qb that depend on their mobility. The shelf life of a run first qb is very short. Those that run enough to throw, are the biggest threat, like Tua and Josh Allen. And Tua got caught 1 too many times. Lamar Jackson will be good for another year or 2 unless he gets hurt. He has wide open receivers because of his running threat, especially the tight end. I’ve thought Wilson has been done for a couple years now. He’s turned into a game manager that can hit a deep pass once in a while but needs a stout defense. Pete Carrol might be a jack ass but he knows talent
I don’t understand how everyone doesn’t realize this and they get paid to talk about it
Russ was never a run first qb, so your whole theory is trash. And he’s in his 12th season, so “short shelf life” is incorrect as well.
@UCv8aEaVuudoXvJBlBlrqNlQ he literally said “run first qb” mongoloid, which russ, in his 11th season, is neither a run first or having a short shelf life, so again, Lamont Sanford, his theory is trash. Thanks for playing, bozo
You don’t know WtF you’re talking about, Tua got injured IN THE POCKET on both plays, so running had nothing to do with it. You’re repeating well worn lazy tropes.
@@antcantcook960 he definitely is a scrambling qb but not a run first qb. But the shelf life of a pocket qb and balanced or scrambling qb is significantly different. Scrambling QBs go for big plays each time.
At his age it shouldn't be surprising that Wilson isn't running so much anymore. An interesting comparison is Aaron Rodgers who has dramatically reduced his running attempts more than Wilson has. QB's in their mid 30's are normally less mobile which explains why so few mobile QB's are still around at that age unless they adapt their style. In Wilson's case the impact on his game is even more noticeable than Rodgers because of his size and the fact that he has never been as prolific in the pocket as Rodgers.
Everyone acting like the season is already over and what you see is what you’re gonna get there’s still a lot of football to be played. I hope Russ and the Broncos turn everything around just so everyone can eat their words.
Not likely. You should have seen him in Seattle last year.
@@nofear8673 I did and always loved Wilson
@@Underdawggg32 enjoy the very progressive decline and no cap space to improve team let alone top two draft picks last year and this year. Wonder how much you will
Love him then. I more of a loyalty to team than individual players myself.
Crazy, almost like Russ is learning a whole new offense and new team. Who could have guessed early struggles. Oh ya, anyone with a brain.
"Best deep ball in the game" belongs to Geno Smith.
yep would love to see the "offensive guru" we have as a head coach would send guys in motion and let Russ adjust at the line.
The backyard is in San Diego. Likely near Poway.
Being a dual threat QB your career length isn't as bad as a running back but its not as long as a traditional QB. A RB is usually kaput around 30, a dual threat QB around 34. The reason that Brady is still affective is he was never a threat to run the ball even when he was a rookie.
Running completely changes the angles of the passing lanes but when these QBs who rely on their legs lose their athleticism they play awful.
Look at how bad Cam Newton got, he wasn't even backup quality.
NFL also watered down game to extend Brady's career. Slow immobile QBs used to get hit much more see Troy Aikman, Stan Humpries, Jim Kelly
@@Aaron-kj8dv RG3 was never the same after his knee injuries. He had a good rookie season so you can't say he didn't transition well to the NFL.
I feel like somethings going on that we don’t know about and we’ll see the Russell Wilson we all know again sometime soon.
Somebody that good and that accurate doesn’t fall off a cliff that quick!
You haven't been watching the last two years, clearly. None of this is "quick." It is more in the realm of "inexorable."
This is what he is and always has been. He's a fraud on and off the field.
It's called Russ has prioritized MVP's, stats, and legacy over wins or whatever it takes to get the dub. Which is why he'll never win another SB. Whether it was on PC or Russ or both it's cost them back to back rings along with the LOB going down as the greatest defense EVER.
&players don't wanna play with someone like that. That's at least how I took his receiver slamming his helmet in frustration
This is classic sports radio stuff. They don’t know, but they will make up reasons. It’s the nature of the beast.
When they said players can’t play forever it’s true cam Newton!
The news that run on the bottom of the screen says Jim Irsay are 20,000 calories as day. I call BS!!!
Russ had three tricks... That first move to yank the rusher out of his shoes... The sandlot scramble to wait for a receiver to find a hole... And a beautiful moon shot...
That first move is gone... That scramble is slow... And the moon shot is 2 to 10 yards in any direction from its target... He is not even a ONE trick pony now...
love DB!!
Ya'll need sherm on a show with Butler. These two would be electric to listen to
It’s even worse because the Broncos stupidly gave him a ridiculous contract extension before he ever even hit the field for them.
Russ hasnt played his best but if Denver wins that game vs Colts They are 3-2,
Its a different story...
I know Russ threw Bad ints but His Receivers dropped 2 TD Dots by Russ. He forced some bad throws to Sutton but maybe he only wants to throw to Sutton because he cant trust the others as they keep droppin his Balls. So its not just Russ Struggles in Denver its the whole team. But QB gets the Glory Right?
We should be 5-0
@@brandonmattiace2443 we would be with either Lock or Teddy with this team and staff. Russ has been historically awful.
What ended up happening is that the Broncos have Russell westbrook at quarterback 🤨
nobody is talking about the drops. that pass to jeudy, put your hands out man! he's had a few where it looks like he's doesn't try to get it, and even when he does he drops more than he hangs on to. Boone dropped back to back passes, we gotta talk about all the drops.
How about this Russ, “Let’s not ride ”
Rancho Santa Fe, CA home 🤙
Same thing happened to Donovan McNabb. When he was running and passing, he was great: 4 straight NFC Championship games, Super Bowl loss. But when he stopped running, he became ass.
That’s the problem with relying on your ability to run alot as a qb.. it’s great for the early part of your career, but when you’re nearing your mid 30’s and the speed slows, your career drops with it. That’s why brady and manning played as long as they did, because they both had the speed of a tortoise, they had to be that good in every other area. When their speed slowed it didn’t matter, they were never able to rely on it from the beginning.
Also helped that Brady and Manning had great teams and great coaches for their whole careers
Yes
I’ve been saying this for years, since the NE Super Bowl he stopped running, that’s what made him different and versatile now he’s just an old
Bum
Gahhhdd dahmmmit I love having Darius on more !!! 🙌🏼👏
Good thoughts, guys.
Been saying this for 3 seasons now.
Rus ain't a cook, he does delivery!
PNW fan here that gets Seahawks games every week due to regional programming situation. Russ has been pretty bad for two years. He is severely undersized for the position and needs to escape the pocket to find throwing lanes. Problem is, he has lost a step and has lost a willingness to take hits as well. He has one and only one superior skill at this stage of his career - loading up to throw high trajectory moonshot bombs with pinpoint accuracy. Outside of that, he has fair to good elusiveness and knows how to take ten easy yards if a defense breaks contain.
But he is absolutely NOT a top tier QB.
He's also more than a bit of a weirdo, but that's another story.
Wilson may still be a good QB, but Denver overpaid him by a country mile.
Pat why do u wear the same tang top
PMS Fam , Let’s Ride! 😂
He struggles because his ego is 100x his talent & leadership ability, not his physical mobility.
Manning still played well & won well beyond his prime physical condition. He was the sheriff, knew how to run an offense, & did what was best for the team to win above his own ego.
Russel didn't bother to learn the playbook. His wheels still work enough, but he has no idea where to throw. He doesn't know his progressions. He doesn't know which defender to key off. He's a mess.
Everyone forgets how bad the Bucs looked in the first half of the season that first year Brady was there.
As a Broncos Fan this Sucks!!
That being said, many people said "The Broncos Are A Quarterback Away!!"
The statement should have been that "They Are The Right Quarterback Away!!"
Broncos have a Good Defense!!
But can't be Great Defense if they are Always On The Field!!
Just Sayin
Commanders and Bears.. wait is this the XFL or soccer game.. lol .. sounds funny
The middle of field completions has always been his weakness. check it out teams just figured him out took the sidelines and deep ball force him to throw to the middle and since he doesn't scramble they got the better of him. . I watched every Russ Seattle game 12here in Olympia WA
Washington should start thinking about starting Sam Howell
It takes a lot more than just pure talent to succeed behind Center. The on-line needs to be on point and execution needs to be perfect. There's a lot more wrong in Denver than just Wilson. He definitely carries blame but it's not just him.
Like a Seahawks fan said once. When Russell Wilson was in Seattle they where blaming a lot of things on why they where bad like Oline and the Coach amongst other things. When he left to Denver most of Seattles problems dissapeared and started appearing with the Broncos
@@ernestogastelum9123 I mean they drafted linemen in the early rounds.
Of course, but Russ has always had a problem with holding onto the ball a lot longer than he should. His height is a reason for it since he can barely see over an o-line, which results in him holding the ball, scrambling and trying to make plays. His outlets are outside the numbers, once you take them away you force him to throw over the middle, which he's barely ever done successfully because of what I mentioned above.
Looks like his O line gave him plenty of time on his two int and also last play.
Poor Broncos...
Rus stopped rolling and throwing that lob over the secondary. His coach doesn’t know him
I always thought Russ was at his best when he free lanced and went off the script. He now seems to think he is a pocket passer, and that seems to have lead to more pics for him.
It’s this simple. The Broncos offense is insanely slow. Plus Noah Fant was a much more important piece than people realize
Ngl watching Russell fall off in more ways than one recently has been depressing.
Russell Wilson is going full Kenny Golladay. Got the bag and now just trying to do the bare minimum to get it.
I think back in 2016 when Eddie Lacy was Seattle's main back, Russ carried like 90 percent of the offense or some crazy high percentage. He can do it, but can he do it anymore is the question
Eddie lacy was never their main back
@Lobstersquid935 didn't Eddie lacy only play on packers??
Eddy lacy barely made the team lol
Broncos country, legs fried
imagine jimmy g at the broncos
They would RUN the ball and get the Dub
He is incapable of playing in the pocket. Scrambling is his only option and he's 10+ years into it.Once he scrambles, and he will out of desperation, he'll get CRACKED !
Geno Smith is a very good QB and is a very good starter in the NFL, he just never had weapons! With that being said, Seattle drafted a LT as a top 10 pick in the draft this year. The first premium position chosen in the first round in over 10 years. So Geno has better pass protection, better offensive line, better RBs (Penny starter).
Maybe Geno Smith is really that good! Hes 6’3 ran 4.56 at the combine. Has an accurate cannon arm. They are using Geno smith and instead of admitting that Geno Smith is just really good and never had any legit weapons with the jets, the narrative is that even a bad QB like Geno can look good in Seattle!
Geno never got to play as full time starter with brandon marshall and eric decker! So we never got to see him in a legit situation! Then the NFL blackballed him from starting after the punch in the face!
As a Broncos fan can confirm, we are FUCKED
@@raniebranson8051 broncos country, let’s die.
As a Seahawks fan Russ has never been able to see well over the middle and early in his career his mobility helped compensate for that, as he has lost the mobility there is a giant part of the field he just doesn’t see in time. It doesn’t matter how good he is outside the numbers/ on deep balls if he can’t hit the lay ups over the middle.
Everyone is open when you can scramble from side to side for ten seconds. Donavon McNabb made his money like that.
RIP Bronco fans... coming from a Bronco fan. Hackett's offense doesn't seem to work with him. It's clearly designed around a tall pocket passer like Rodgers.
Ciara gon leave this man 2 years tops 😭😭 freaking Ned Flanders
That o-line in Denver is garbage. They couldn't block a D2 team.
If you look at Russell's stats over the last few years you can see a decline. Denver was stupid for giving him the contract they did. I never believed the hype around Denver during the off-season. They look how I expected them to look.
His house/backyard is in Rancho Santa Fe
No!! He’s missing throws, not seeing wide open, receivers, and flat out refusing to use his legs
short QBs can make it in the NFL. Add short with average mobility and that's something we haven't seen be successful yet.
