Great content! This is the sound of a man who has never worn earplugs :)
🙂
Understood every word. : )
Yes. I like to be seen from a long distance away when on a motorcycle. Planning on putting LED side marker lights on my Enduro , or dual sport as they call them now. Drivers are constantly swapping lanes over on top of me. It's the tallest bike I've ever had , but the digital camo pattern blends into the background. Never have I kicked a 4wheeler to dent a door , to get even with a driver. But I've had to take my size 14 boot and bump two different doors on two different occasions , because they didn't hear my horn , and were pushing me into the median. Anyway I'm thinking possibly amber lights will grab more attention. If anyone else reads this and has any input please chime in as well.
This is super helpful, thanks! Could you link to a photo of the kind of V-shaped bracket you wish you would have used? I'm having a hard time imagining what you mean. Thanks for making this!
I was thinking of mounting a toolbox on the back of my bike. I never thought about using rails. Great tip with the V shape, I'll certainly have to experiment with this. I also never through a out putting lights on my bike either. I'll certainly have to do that as well.
Genius!! Pure Genius KY!! Now that's what I call a DIY project.. 👍
Thanks!
I love all the eyeballin' and "bout-here
would be nice if someone made a quick release attachment that you could simply bolt onto any box so that you could swap boxes easily. Bolt one part to your rack and the other side to the box.
Right!
Well made, thank you for a good idea to work with.
Thanks for watching!
Absolute genius! Will be building one of these at the weekend!
Have fun doing it!
Excellent post, thank you for sharing.

Awesome 👍😎
Thanks!
Awesome, im going to get sum of those craftsman versa stack boxes, good job buddy 👍
Cool! I want to try to make side boxes one day.
Genius idea
Thanks! I'm going to try side boxes next
someone made something similar for the Yamaha qt50 to hold the battery as the stock battery box/holder was missing. I'd like to do something like that.
If anyone can do it, you can. It's time for you to invest in a welder
How's she goin'? That box is a nice addition and the racking seems to be good. Maybe the 'vee ' track would be an improvement but this seems to do the job pretty good!!! I like the lights!! Take care!!!
Thanks Mike
Pretty clever, man! Did you use any silicone on the light mount holes? Hate for water to leak in from those. I’m a huge believer in reflective tape. I found some black reflective tape. Perfect for the frame!
Yes sir! Sealed everything, I need to look into the black tape I haven't seen it before. Thanks for watching!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey! I deliver for Grubhub and you just inspired a design! I'll link to you if you like, can you tell me what that channel type was and what store you got it from? I'm in Philly
Thanks I got the channel from the shelving section at Lowes, good luck with your project!
Oh, hey, a new flasher dohickey will get those blinkers going better. They are cheap and damn near universal!
