This is probably the best western developed Samurai game ever.
You have the creator of the Yakuza series citing it as more japanese than his home country and two of the directors becoming ambassadors of the RL Tsushima island. This game was a breath of fresh air compared to the slop of the last of us 2.

Kurosawa gives me a headache after a while. NO IDEA why they didnt take the time to fix the lip sync? maybe they couldnt?
The default color mode(i think) was SP trying to nail the colors of Kurosawas RAN/Dreams and the Lone Wolf and Cub film series. All, very very colorful and a great use of Color Theory before it became a trend.
I like how people acting like they aren't going to shill for that Tomb Raider show even if it's decent at best while at the same time it's filled with feminist propaganda and Laura Croft being black.

The sword was magical too; but Merlin warned Arthur when he lost the scabbard to his half sister's trickery that the scabbard was worth ten excaliburs. Excalibur is basically a D&D old school Vorporal Blade. The Scabbard however had was enchanted to prevent the blood from leaving a body - so no matter how many times the wearer was cut; you had the time to heal the wounds naturally. Which IS a hell of a lot more valuable in a fight, and especially in those days. If Arthur had kept the scabbard during the duel with his son by his sister (Mordred) he wouldn't have died. The scabbard made a warrior who lived by the sword as it were, the next best thing to invincible.

1) it's not a technical mess at launch.
2) it doesn't completely crap on an existing IP with Progressive messaging.
Remember that this game's major competition on the PS4 in 2020 was The Last of Us 2, and we all know how horrible and AstroTurfed that game was. Makes Ghost of Tsushima seem like Akira Kurosawa quality by comparison.

The good news about rise of the tmnt is that it’s so unpopular season 3 got cancelled and season 2 had to be reduced to a movie. There is justice in the world.

They annoy me more than any other AAA studio because they actually have interesting ideas on paper but just always fail to execute.
I mean c'mon, time travelling through ancestral memories to assassinate people in assassin's creed? Liberate long forgotten tropical islands like you're Rambo in far cry? These are all good ideas but the problem is every game they've made since far cry 3 is just far cry 3 again.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is great but to each their own.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a very underrated game, it's a shame nobody played it

1:14:45 - Armored Warriors is probably my favorite beat-em-up, despite how cheap it can be. I managed to get it as part of a collection called Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle. There are a bunch of other great beat-em-up games on it as well with a bunch of different features. These games are a lot more fun in multiplayer, but there doesn't seem to be as much multiplayer interest nowadays.
I also highly recommend the free fan game "Final Fight LNS Ultimate", although it has a rough learning curve, it doesn't really have its own online multiplayer (there is local multiplayer), and I recommend you find a good save file that lets you access most of the fighters right off the bat. I can image Razorfist enjoying playing beat-em-up as Vega from SF2.

The Clans in Battletech are just powercreep to challenge veteran players. Lore has nothing to do with it. Most of the battles in the novels are based on tabletop sessions. Shitty dice are why Kurita couldn't kill Kell.
I would also suggest that a shitty DM had something to do with it to. Any DM woth their salt can extract a victory from the jaws of shitty dice rolled defeat.

I will never stop arguing that it is possible to live a good, fulfilling life without having to subscribe to a religious faith. I agree that having the third place is a good barrier against wokeness , but there are plenty of options and not the sole domain of any holy ground. Coffee shops, parks, hobby stores, get some friends together, start a tabletop group. There are plenty of older books to draw from. Starting a baseball team or a kayaking group is also a good idea. Don’t let them make you their b-yotch.
I'm not telling you what to believe, but faith is not about a fulfilling life within this world. The Gospel is about the recognition and disclaimer of worldly vice to the benefit of the hereafter. Fulfillment within the current world is auxiliary to that thesis.

And most of these ritualistic actions of appeasing supposed gods, like the chopping off of foreskins or what kind of meat you eat on various days, seem rather arbitrary. So the universe is bureaucratically scanning our minds, looking at whether we eat pork or cow and using that as the determining factor on where to sort us.
