Really appreciate the technique advice on the jigging rap. Excellent video.

I think the same thing about Mono, I feel like I miss more bites but I feel like I boat for fish with it. I think that stretch helps in getting fish to the boat.

from what i have read, walleyes have a poor chance of survival in water depths at 30 foot and deeper. not sure but that is why the MNDNR has determined to close the mille lacs walleye season this year

MNDNR says that walleyes caught at and deeper than 30 feet have a higher mortality rate when released than walleyes caught in water less than 30 foot, at least that was their justification for closing the walleye season on Mille Lacs lake for the 2017 season. i am no walleye specialist and only catch a few per year... they are sure great eating fish though

meanwhile MNDNR uses gill nets to sample fish populations for large gamefish, and the survival rate for a gill net walleye is 0%

just a guess, but maybe when they raise the gill nets, they do so slowly , unlike when we catch them on a rod and reel.,

That's his thing, skip the last few minutes then. I don't worship either, but if he wants to spread his message, let him.
