I've been watching Al fish on TV since I was just a little guy (30+ years)...love the stuff you guys put out. Aside from the usual big lakes like Mille Lacs, etc. I have never recognized any of the smaller lakes you guys fish....until now! ;) I love this little gem for panfish in the spring, and my kids have a blast there. Never tried it for bass...guess I'll have to give it a shot now! Don't worry...your secret lake is safe with me, as I'd hate to see it get pounded relentlessly. Keep up the great work, guys!

What brand of reels are the guys using now? Still Quantum? I wouldn't think so since you now have St Croix as a rod sponsor?

I Hate technology combined with bass fishing. Yes, it's great for business, and you make a ton of money, but it is NOT fishing, and it is not SPORTING. Wait another ten years, and we can all sit at home watching the game while or robots go out, catch the fish, bring them home, and cook them.
Anglers today, and companies the push the latest technology all for the dollar, have no clue what fishing really is, and couldn't spell "sportsmanship" if they had a talking dictionary. Using high-tech to catch bass is not something to be proud of, it's something to be ashamed of. Bats have more sonar and electronics that a nuclear sub had a few years ago. The have reels with chips, GPS, and all sorts of technology that mean no one now has to know anything except how to read a fish finder.
Sportsmanship? Respecting the fish, or the deer? No, not at all. It's no wonder the number of anti-hunters and anti-fishers is growing at such a high rate. Who can blame them?
