I’m so glad the YSL 01 powder works for you! Yay!! I love it but I’m warmer than you are. I was afraid it might be too warm for you! I have my calendar marked for the Suqqu Selfridges date. I want both quads. Purples are my favorites so that was a given, but I don’t think I have any Suqqu corals! I just love the pre-summer collections! Thank you for the comparison of the palette to the Dior. They are different enough for me! (And they’d mix well together!) I think it’s really different from the 126, too. The Moisture Glaze is my favorite makeup find of all of 2024 so far. If I made a lip product and got to specify my perfect amount of pigment, moisturizing, and texture, I would make the Moisture Glaze exactly. So far I have 2, 3, 5, and 6. I’m spacing out some other other shades to get in the fall. I feel like 102 seems similar on the lip to 02, so I think I’ll skip that one, but the 101 I might have to get! And 05 will go great with the purple palette! But I loved the lavender topper on 102 as well! (And please do at least one cooler blush, Suqqu! The past couple of releases only have warm toned blushes!!) The Chikuhodo REN Series looks beautiful. The handle shape is lovely! #3 looks like a very unique shape to what I already have. And #5 looks unique for me, too. The size and shape with those particular bristle types looks like a must have for me! Yay!! Thank you for another excellent and very helpful video!!❤
Hi Lexi, that Suqqu purple palette is happiness even just to look at for all the purple lovers! The blush is surprisingly wearable given the warmer deeper tone...love the highlighter portion. Agree it would have been nice if there was a cooler option for the blush and lips to accompany the purple palette, although both are so pretty on you. That is a really comprehensive brush review! I love the new YSL powder compact so as soon as I finish up my current YSL translucent pressed powder, I will go for the new translucent version. (Every time I see the Kazan series brushes, I regret not buying them when I had the opportunity to do so.) The colours in the quad are pretty but they looked to be a patchy, something which I find often happens with mauve/purple shades. I also feel when our eyelids are a little discoloured, the colour isn’t true. The lipstick was very pretty.

And definitely still in the pink quad! I have a lot of similar if not identical purples to the quad. I'm a bit confused why both blushes are so very warm 🤔 a cool toned person probably can't wear those! And same goes for the lipsticks. I wouldn't wear either w cool toned purple

Wow the Zen and Ren brushes look so sophisticated. I’m stuck between choosing the Zen 1 or Ren 1 for all over powder. I don’t like the prickles from my goat hair brushes from rephr. Would you say the Ren is softer?
Zen and Ren are both incredibly soft but I prefer the Ren personally. It's more about the way the bristles flow over the skin. I feel like the Zen feels "heavier."

It isn't uncommon to see a couple of loose hairs that didn't make it into the ferrule when the brush is new. There hasn't been any actual shedding at this time but I will definitely let you know if I experience any!

The Selfridges minimum is $175. I did that for the last collection, but buying directly from the website, where you have no minimum purchase, is better with Selfridges Global. Also delivery is faster. Plus I prefer waiting for reviews from you. This eye palette is pinker than I expected. As for powder, thanks for reviewing the YSL. I would probably go for Universal. But I'm also interested in the Burberry. You didn't compare the Chantecaille Holiday. I love the blurring from that. How does it compare? I too love those Suqqu lip colors. My fave is #6. I also have #5 and #9. I am curious about #10. But I'd love to see them make a deep blackberry. That would make a stunning sheer. Maybe in the future. Thanks for the video!💚

It's still the best option though imo. I forgot to compare the Chantecaille Holiday! I can say that they are different because the Chantecaille has a bit more blur and glow to it. The universal may be a better comparison to the Chantecaille. I agree about your Suqqu suggestion!

I think 5 or 6 would be a great lipstick with this palette. 5 is great if you want something more bold and 6 is more everyday.

Thank you! The foundation definitely gives more coverage but that airbrushed finish is the powder. I think overall, it's more due to the foundation.

After watching your swatch, I’m disappointed that the purple shade is not the duochrome, not even a monochrome. Suqqu is a pass for me this round too.
I was really looking forward to more of a shift with that shade. It looks so pretty in the pan but you don't really see much of that on the lid.

I don't have the Z8 but as the for hairs, the ren has a little more snap than the z series.
