    Being DIYer myself, I think you need to use a tool with a cone shaped plug (and pipe inside) to cover holes when injecting. Otherwise that pump is just pouring liquid with no or very little pressure in the hole. Thanks for video. Looks like those tools are pretty expensive but, again, can be VERY easily made by yourself.

      We drill in the ground 10 inches and fill the hole with the substance. We put 1/2 a gallon in each hole. It takes much more time but it works.

    It`s a nice tutorial! - to dig the soil or to drill holes when there is a concrete driveway. But what we have to do when a timber decking (hardwood) is meeteng an outside wall (brick veneer), please?
    There is no appropriate gap to dig a tranche there. Do we nwwd to take all the decking out for the digging and treatment around or threre is a ssmarter way to do this, please? Thank you

    Hi Joseph. I am going to apply the knowledge from your videos for termites inside my basement. Since the termites are coming in through the floor at the bottom of the walls I wanted to ask if you think it is a good idea to drill at 45 degree angles so I can inject the substance underneath the walls? Thanks for these great videos.

    • @josephk9182
      @josephk9182  Před 5 lety

      You can. The bottom line is the Termidor or Tauros should be injected into the ground 6 inches deep. The termite will come via a cracks in the slab under the wall. You need to geometrically calculate the angle to drill and I think it is smaller than 45 degree more likely 22.5 degree.

    OK I don't understand why anyone would go through this much trouble. It is so much better to just pay a pro to do it. The average termite treatment with Termidor only costs like $600 this seems like a big waste of time.This is terrible and inefficient you are spilling chemical everywhere and you don't have enough pressure to drive the chemical into the ground. If you wanna do a do it your self termite treatment just use Bait it makes more sense for a DIY.

    • @johnnyhe2313

      Companies have to be licensed by their state and are libel for spills and protecting the occupant and environment. They also HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LABEL WHICH IS THE LAW. Individuals are accountable as well it's just not regulated much. Also if you as an owner poison yourself family pets neighbors or a water source YOU are accountable because the the label applies to you as well. I've seen over the years where companies paid fines bought a house and even lost their licence because of not following the label. It can also be a federal offence.
