      No, only to ground . To wall you should use Termidor foam tube.

      Please look at the video. I use a drill pump that you buy from home improvement like Home Depot or Lowes

    Why to drill the hole in cement if there's open dirt just one foot left of the driveway?

    Seriously dude, hire a pest control guy. You have almost everything wrong.

    On the rest of your slab house, do you make horizontal holes, vertical holes or 45° holes and how deep if slab is 4 inches thick?

    • @josephk9182
      @josephk9182  Před 6 lety

      The slab is 4 inches and I only make vertical holes. You need to drill at least 10 inches , this means six inches under the slab.

    Why aren't you not using cork caps to seal hole prior to concrete,

      I would have put a 'removable bung', so that next time you treat, pop the bung and reapply treatment, then bung it again.

    Seems to me that the hole has to be drilled in at least four directions in an angle to cover and to create space for the liquid to damp a larger section.
    Letting the liquid over flow is a waste of money.

    Joseph, I did not see that you drilled inside the garage.I see that you drilled outside the garage and not the inner wall inside the garage.Talk about that please. Thanks!

    • @josephk9182
      @josephk9182  Před 6 lety

      It is a good practice to drill hole every foot around the garage next to the walls, the same way I did (in the video) outside the garage . It will give a better protection.

  • @williamwatson171
    @williamwatson171 Před 5 lety

    Your drill okay. But don't you think a pump sprayer would be better ? Less messy and easier, more pressure into holes

    • @josephk9182
      @josephk9182  Před 5 lety

      Any pump injects the Termidor into the ground properly is okay to use. Some pump will work better than the others depend on the soil type you have around your property.

    As a 20+ year professional exterminator, I personally don't mind people trying to do some things to save some money. But, if you are going to try this yourself folks,then please read and follow the label instructions to the letter. This guy criticizes pros, yet as I am typing this, he is kneeling in chemical which he has carelessly spilled everywhere. He is not wearing safety glasses ( required for sub slab injections), not using the right equipment for sub slab injections. And, I'm not sure which so called pros he has spoken with,that don't guarantee their work, but, please, speak with a professional about having this work done. Most will give you a free estimate,and I personally have never met one that didn't warranty his work. As with any profession, there are indeed some crooks out there, so do your research and speak with more than one company. Rant over.

      I'm with you about the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) but the injection slab equipment is the one not for DIY. Where I can buy it? How much it will cost? That's the whole idea about DIY. Do the job for less money. So I think if you, being a professional, want to really cooperate you will tell us other options to Slab Inject without throwing more than $1,000 in an expert or a pressurize injection equipment.
