It is disgusting behaviour, but we don't know the other side of the story. Humans are usually not crazy and decide to torment other human beings just because. Specially an ex, and the father of their child. There must be some perception of injustice from her side. Which may or may not be justified. We don't know.
To ask someone who has been through metaphorical hell to be generous to the source of their misery is a big ask for us humans.

She’s being very bitter and spiteful. Couldn’t she his infant daughter on Christmas week and she kept the little girl away from the dad. I believe she still doing drugs and sleeping with any and every man she sees. The defendant needs to be fighting for full custody or supervised visitation.

You say that until something happens. There’s some reasons ppl do interfere and I’m ok with it especially domestic violence just bc he abused an adult doesn’t mean he won’t ever abuse the child or even kill the child if it goes that far. I’ve seen it happen plenty times domestic violence turns into homicide of the whole family

My Dad cheated on my Mum when I was 18 months old. NEVER has she discouraged me from or stopped me from seeing him. I've seen him every week since childhood. Neither of my parents have ever spoke badly about eachother to me. I have a wonderful Mother and Father. Love your kids more than you hate each other. Manipulative mothers like this disgust me. I don't care how badly he has treated you. Unless he is a danger or neglectful to the child, they are two EQUAL parents. I wish there were more judges like Judge Judy to defend fathers.
My dad also cheated on my mom and later ended up marrying his mistress after the divorce. My mom never prevented him or my paternal side from seeing me. Any negative perceptions I have of my father is because of things I have seen him do not because of anything my mother said about him.
My mother never quicked up a fuss when we would visit our father who was living with the woman he left her for, as far as she was concerned as long as he kept up the custody and child maintenance agreement it was all good. Only time an issue took place was when said woman (they aren't together anymore) told him because they had us for a week in the summer they should dock maintenance, my mother reminded my father the current agreement took weeks we wouls visit for holidays into account...his ex still wanted my father to either pay less or see us less.
Another woman that doesn’t get that fathers have just as many rights as she does. The way she talks, it’s clear she thinks she owns the child.
Sadly, that isn't always the case and a lot of times women win the case even if they clearly shouldn't be anywhere near the children. They SHOULD have equal rights but in reality...

@arnellataylor3310 it's starting to change. For a century, the mother was the best person to have the child because women didn't have to work and the men did so they wouldn't be present to care for the child. Also, the societal differences between then and now are stark. Men were discouraged from being single parents and there was an enormous stigma against that. Luckily we are starting to get to a place now where both people are judged equally since everyone has to work now and there's no easy solution to child rearing. The stigma against men being good, present fathers has also changed which is amazing. It's no where near perfect but it's getting there.
Some women don't like to understand that fathers have rights and the morher doesn't 'own' the child
They also don't understand that the more loving adults there are in a child's life, the better it is for everyone involved, especially the child.

Well she was a "Old family court Judge."
So the child was already seeing her father from mon to thursday, the only reason the mother won't sign the papperwork (imho) is because she didn't want to give up the control of the situation. She uses that child as leverage and most likely with her family as well.
I wish irresponsible people wouldn't have children ...

I really like it when JJ puts these manipulating women in their places. Many women blackmail the father using the child visitation as a bargaining chip. Disgusting! @lizh1988 she doesn't even detail any of the things he apparently put her through, I think they were just bad together and she doesn't want to share their child. If she's concerned over violent behaviour in the past she should get an order in place to either keep him away or keep his contact supervised, but given she only brought up doubts he was the father because he wanted to see her more often shows she just wants him gone 🙄

He didn't "whittle" it down. He said the woman and his baby lived with him for 2 months and the rest of the time she lived in his house while he was deployed. The least he did for her was let her stay rent-free in his house for a few months, maybe 10 maybe less.
Given the mother's behavior and attitude, I'm more inclined to believe the defendant than the plaintiff.

Could be a genetic condition or syndrome that affects physical features. She seems tall and lanky, with disordered teeth, smaller head size, wide set eyes, possible cognitive issues. Could also be from exposure to substances in utero. 🤷🏼♀️

I wonder what state she gave birth in that she was able to put him on the birth certificate if he didn’t go to the hospital. My dad wasn’t at the hospital until the day after I was born and my mom filled out my bc including putting his name down but they were married. These people aren’t married.
