- Here is a detailed review of the Tata Sumo 4 wheel drive. The unsung hero of Indian armed forces in 90's, the Sumo featured in the video comes with a low ratio transfer case. The vehicle served in the army before it was up for auction and was restored both mechanically and cosmetically after that.
The Tata Sumo is powered by a Peugeot 2.0 litre engine churning out 63 horses. Mated to a 5 speed manual transmission, with the option of an electrically shifting 4 wheel drive transfer case.
