There's a possibility of TATA retaining the Safari nametag for the 7 seater version of the Harrier. The good old Safari will be missed though. Thanks Faisal bro for this review.
No. H7X will have the same compass engine but with power than that of harrier. H7X will have around 170bhp power and 350nm torque. In diesel engines, torque matters more for better driving and off-roading. Safari storm's 2.2L produces 400nm torque which makes safari beast on both highways and off-road.

This just reminded me of my dicor 2.2 the body roll, the understeer, heavy clutch even the heavy steering, long gear throws which felt like truck, the high comfort level, that big badass road presence. This car really gets the respect on and off the highways be it buses or trucks they don't wanna mess with this beast. This pure old school ladder on frame chassis isn't a drivers car but I still miss this car. This video is totally on point couldn't agree more. Any safari owner will love this video and I can totally relate to it.
4yrs later I still miss this beast and planning to get a used storme.

Neither harrier or no other suv can replace the love and emotions for safari,for me I love safari more than endeavour safari should be declared as national suv of India it was the 1st Indian luxury suv it has such huge road presence from childhood I have dream that 1 day I will buy this since my childhood I just stare the safari sumo the 1st gen safari was just a dope I just love it I wish tata may continue it ❤💔

safari storme is the royal enfields of the cars, it is not a good value for money, reliable or powerful but it has a old school charm and is brimming with character. it is just so cooool.....

Boy you're wrong! Safari is most powerful in the segment, engine is refined and it is reliable as well. It is the only suv which can cruise like xuv500 and off-road like thar. Each and every car in the world requires updates and facelift on time to survive in market, tata didn't addressed the fit & finish issues in safari storm like mahindra addressed every issue in scorpio and fixed them. Tata did nothing for safari, that's the reason for its failure.

In my neighbourhood one guy has safari storme 2012 model,he does business with it...car has clocked 120k km. Still it is as new as before,it depends on how you maintain your car.

This car actually has functional twin rear exhausts. I have it on my 2014 Storme, I am not sure if they changed that on newer models.

Im driving safari since 8 yrs..it is well maintained n fully satisfied with its driving quality.And you are right, once you start driving safari you ll use of it like iam too and i hardly adjust with other cars interms of driving and comfort.It makes you feel very secure and you ll start enjoy driving.

A very dear family friend owns an old safari no not a storme but he swears by it .... It drives on everything and then some all the time .... Then I could also argue that he is an exceptional talent on river beds but it's both machine and man at the end of the day.....

Safari storme comes with twin exhaust as standard and 2015 storme comes with streeing control and in 2015 safari storme wiper completely go down and comes with normal speed like other cars.
Here after Gravitas became Safari 😭😭
The modifiers have totally messed up this storme, my Varicor 400 VX is soo much better.
1) stock wipers are absolutely fine.
2) they have wrongly tuned the engine, I never have to go above 1500 RPM on any gear.
3) rear wipers are an absolute necessity, removing them is just stupid.
4) the storme is already a wide car it does not need wheels jutting out
5) the new steering wheel has media control.
6) the stock steering is VERY responsive and light, fortuner and even a few higher end sedans can barely compete with the steering's fluidity.
7) getting 245 size tyres will make a world of difference on bad roads.
8) engine starts with a roar but gets quite soft from the third gear.
9) Stock infotainment system is just fine. Just get an iPad if you need.
10) custom grills are not ideal as stock grills are designed specifically for the turbo charger to intake certain amount of air
11) they money you spent on the shitty infotainment system could actually be used to enhance the cockpit.
12) Ignition button can be added and fuel and power window controls can be shifted elsewhere.
13) you can get custom gauges on the right beam.
In short: you have totally FUCKED a perfectly good car.
Edit: I have 100000KMs on my storme.

Hi i believe the steering feels rigid because of the wider tyres used, under stock tyres the wheel will be more responsive
