Presentation wise absolutely, but gameplay wise none of them come close to Octavio 1

I feel like TarTar would be up there if they stuck with his concept stuff. A timed Platforming type of bossfight is cool and all but they could have definitely done better. Especially given the concepts are pretty similar to what overlorder is.

I like how at the end of side order you can here some part of color pulse in a soft way, hearing this made me feel emotional because of how nice it sounds it really gives the ending vibes.

I am only just now realizing...Tartar was disgusted with the Inklings & Octolings because they were just like Humans...the two reasons he listed, thats pretty much what humans do as well
also it seems that no matter what the bosses always loop back to the original...Octopi
since how many bosses have we had that are Octopus-themed...DJ Octavio, Tartar, Overlorder
only Agent 3 & Mr Grizz aren't Octopus-themed

Probably my favorite parts about some of the boss fights are that the attacks follow the beat of the Idols' songs (probably the easiest example to see is Order's barriers breaking to the beat of Ebb and Flow). Just a small detail I thought was cool.

actually I think all of the final bosses have their movement intertwined with the idol song in the final moments of the battle

I haven't tried it yet, but in the foyer, there's actually a set of headphones (in a box??) that allows you to "relive your memories"

Sadly, when you interact with the box for Overlorder, it skips the first bit of the fight and goes right to when you need to bust open the portals for the color chips, and you can’t even help drop the beat for Ebb and Flow.
