Hey man, I came to your channel as a weekend DIYer/woodworker enthusiast, but by day I am a mental health provider and I thank you and have a lot of respect for your honesty and courage to talk about mental health and taking a step towards socially normalizing what is already a normal experience struggling with mental health. Keep up the good work brother!

Thanks for speaking out mark! Our industry especially has this stigma that mental health is for the weak and it’s just not true!! All the best

Free projects supported by a tool company...I'm all for it. Woodworking is one great way I've found to get out of my head. Thanks Mark, this video was made for me.

I work to keep from thinking too much. Sitting idle throws me into a depression. I know exactly what you mean here.

I can totally relate . I've worked 70-90 hours a week for years. But certain times, it's overwhelming

I really appreciate this video ❤ mental health is important and stepping out of our comfort zone to ask for help is a struggle for many, myself included. I too try to stay busy to cope with anxiety and it seems overwhelming at times to be involved in so many different things at once as a way to deal with it, but its part of what makes me, me. Thanks for sharing 😊

Great video mark! This hit me really hard, as I struggle from many mental illnesses, like anxiety, ocd, adhd, etc. Moving to a new shop was really anxious for me, and I’ve been wanting to make a video like this as well. Such a great video that everyone should watch, mental health is extremely important.

@remarkablewoodwork thanks for sharing. Speaking from personal experience...sounds like you have undiagnosed adhd...they go hand in hand. Do your research...start with getting a clear diagnosis and look into changing your diet. Believe it or not...food can be very detrimental to someone like us

Or... Instead of making another "how to drill pocket holes" video, I chose to talk about something that might actually help someone. If that someone is not you, or your cat then my bad, bro.
