- BMW e90 with trouble on rear lights, problem caused by breaking the wiring that connects the body with the trunk lid
The taillights won't work and charging the bulbs won't work!
The repair is relatively easy only it consumes a lot of time and is meticulous, the wires must be completely replaced and the joints made up in the hood and down in the body, the part where the wires move is forbidden to tie them because they will break faster, to make a improvisation and isolating them will not hold and there is a risk of catching fire if they get short between them

Hi the rear led lights for my bmw e90 2006 model seem to be having electrical issues. They sometimes come on and the right drivers' side one barely comes on. Sometimes in the morning they are both fine. Sometimes only on one side both led and fog light comes on even if I haven't switched the fog lights on! And when the lights switch is completely switched on then the rear fogs will come on instead, and even though I haven't switched them on?! May you advice if you could assist or encountered this issue before?!

Hi nice one! fixed my broken wires and now my number plate light works. But my reverse lights are still out, any ideas? I’ve replaced the reverse switch on the gearbox still nothing.. does the frm module have a cut out after 50 key cycles? I’m a bit stumped 🤔
You need to do a diagnosis, if you have short circuit error in FRM need to be reseted

Any ideas on how to open the boot if the wires are broken as my boot doesnt open from remote or button and theres no key in the boot lid and my seats dont go down any help really appreciated it
Try removing the trunk button on the rear of the trunk. Should be a little rubber piece you and put some sort of hook through and pull it down to open it. It's supposed to be an "emergency release" but they could have just kept the key slot for the lci models. Hope that helps

Hello ! if you manage to enter the trunk through the car then you will have to open the upholstery and open it manually
@@MOvidiu Je n'ai aucune commande, j'ai réussi en mettant un petit tournevis dans la serrure sur la droite et en arrivant à appuyer sur le mécanisme pour ouvrir le coffre. J'ai mis 1 heures à y parvenir. J'espère que je n'ai pas abimé la serrure. Sinon c'est un des fil marron du faisceau qui était coupé. J'ai le coffre qui ne s'ouvrait pas et un voyant défaut feu antibrouillard.
