Enjoyed watching. Hope you had lovely visits with family. Heat wave in Montana like everywhere else~ whew. It was so hot I had a California Racer snake glide over my foot at 5 pm last night trying to escape to some shade. First time seeing that in my yard. It will be so nice to sit down with your Granddaughter and have her teach you some stitching. Stay cool, and rest well. Best wishes~ Valerie.

Most of the slow stitchers I watch are from England, so I was excited to see that you live in my general area in north Georgia. I'm in Gwinnett County. I have children and siblings in metro Atlanta, Gainesville, Toccoa and Blairsville. I am new to slow stitching and i so enjoy your videos.

Wow Rita, all that for five dollars! I live in South Carolina USA and very hard to find things like those. I found some embroidered pillowcases but each one was $20 dollars! No, I did not get them.
Oh wow! That is pricy. Sometimes, I find things in thrift stores, but it is rare, and the consignment shops are getting very high for linen & lace! 🧵🪡🧵

Like what do you use for paper crafts, what or do you use different kinds for different slow stitch projects… making yo yos? Wonderful haul of lacy goodness, I just thought you would like to know the stitching on the red gingham is called Chicken Scratch embroidery its a form of cross-stitch embroidery done on gingham fabric, also known as "depression lace" or "snowflaking"

The pattern I used was printed from the internet; several free ones are available. I used 4.5” for the back and 3.5” for the inside. I hope that helps. Have fun making some! 🧵💕🧵
