Arjay Neyra no problem! I’m thinking of visiting Myanmar in a couple years (post-corona lol). In terms of the village visits, did you find them overwhelming at all? I did a hike in Sapa Vietnam (quite a while ago, like 6 years now) and it was great! But it felt like the whole time we were being followed by folks who wanted money or to sell small wares, and it distracted from the experience a lot. This is not to say I don’t want to support locals by any means (I absolutely recognize travel is a privilege), but I’m just curious about your experience.

If you're concerned about being sold to in the villages, I believe there's less of it in Myanmar compared to Vietnam though with tourism picking up in the next coming years in the country, I can see it happening so the best time to see these villages is as soon as you can!
