There is no Electronics and Communication Engineering. Its Electronics and Electrical Communication. And Instru is a circuital branch. Taking DSP, ASP And SSP what makes you special in the market. And Yeah Instru is so underrated

joining Instrumentation in NIT Trichy and i am assured after seeing ur video
I'm 2nd year in instrumentation and I joined this branch because of him and I deeply regret my choice please don't listen to him it's equal to electrical engineering there is no difference in load at all only 1 lab less in 4 th sem.3rd and 4th sem same syllabus for electrical and instru.Go for CSE. unless you have interest in electrical engineering don't choose it.
Bhaiya, I am getting IE in IIT kgp (mock seat allotment)
I have two doubts
1. What are the criteria for taking cs minor?
2. In order to learn AI, ML,datascience do we need a cs minor?or can we learn it by online courses? Will get that amount of free time to do AI,ML datascience be available to us in IE?
3. Should I choose engineering and computational mechanics at iit Delhi for AI ML Datascience?
1)You have to fulfil a few credit requirements and take cs subjects as additionals/electives.
2)No you don't. I myself did a lot of AI/ML in my 1st 2nd year. Did a ML Research Internship as well. Could find time to study it easily.
3) Depends on your interest. I have no idea about the IIT Delhi branch.

If you have Interest in Physics, you should take EP at IITD.
Kindly say something about new syllabus of instrumentation. Is new syllabus has same type of flexibility as of old syllabus (before 2019).
Bhai Koi mat lena iit kgp mi instrumentation there is no difference between electrical and instrumentation, and this is hardest branch in KGP.

Need a little bit help as I am considering to join this branch in kgp over IIT Bombay/Delhi chemical.
Is it a right move according to you?
I don't know anything about any of these branche(as most of students only know PCM till 12th like me). I want to explore and find my interest along with keeping my studies at a good level so that I can get a good placement too.
Basically I want a little bit of free time to tryout different things and also being in the race of good placement

I'd suggest Instrumentation at IIT KGP over Dhanbad and Ropar, considering this is a circuital branch at Top 5 IIT.
Let say example 100 companies is for software coming in iit kgp a f how many company open to all? Many of saying only 5-6 will open for all and lower branch
Absolutely not. Though things are different for Placements and Internships.
In placements, 60-70% of the companies are open to all. Numbers might not be accurate, but it's roundabout same.

Instrumentation better than all of the above unless you're really interested in Civil or Mech.

There are specialisations like Instrumentation and Integrated Electronics,Instrumentation and Control along with Instrumentation and Signal processing , machine learning offered here at IIT. Kharagpur .though here Instrumentation you can consider overall basic instrumentation cources

Workload is less compared to EE.
Rest all are explained in the video. Enough jobs in core as well as non core

KGP Instru would be a better choice considering you're in a TOP 5 IIT plus advantages of a circuital branch

OOPs they ask sometimes. DBMS, Systems are generally not asked in Internship Interviews.

Instrumentation engineering in IIT KGP or CSE in IIT Patna / ISM Dhanbad
I personally preferred going into a Top 5 IIT Circuital branch rather than other. But if placements are your main focus(not that you won't get placed in Instru), Dhanbad or Patna CSE can be a good option.
