Only one point is wrong which is ECE is not an Evergreen Branch. Software runs on a hardware in the end. Without Hardware (ECE) there will not be any Software (IT). Thus ECE will always be EVERGREEN.
Think how many Software are Running in Single Hardware Device , You buys a Phone/P.C once and runs multiple software with updates. My point is Frequency of Hardware optimisation/Update is less than Software!
@@manish22261 with the rise of A.I., M.L., R.L to requirement for rapid growth and upgrade in computation power and more requirement of hardware is inevitable, especially with the current times. The need for hardware will grow exponentially, cause it isn't just the mobiles, laptops or cpus only that need the hardware, but other appliances as well
@@manish22261 Also, look at PC and Smartphones, 1 ui on several devices ranging from 10k to 10 lakh assembled set. Hardware is different but software is same throughout (in this case).
Both are interlinked and cant work without each other but even if internet dies tomorrow hardware for traditional devices like radios will still be required.

The thing with ECE is that, to get the high paying design jobs, one needs to get a masters degree in a specialization (like VLSI, integrated circuits etc.) from a premier Institute to get the high paying core jobs

It all depends on Skills. If you don't have Skills in IT and CSE you will not get job . We shouldn't happy for taking CSE, also we have to work😅 on skills.

Mujhe Government College me CSE mil raha tha par maine ECE liya. Mera target hai ki mai GATE qualify karun aur ECE me hi IIIT ya IIT se M.Tech karun. Mera goal hai VLSI engineer banna. VLSI domain me B.Tech ka bohot demand nhi hai par M.Tech me accha demand hai khaas karke top colleges me.

I'm working for automotive components manufacturing company ,I have seen many ECE colleagues regret by saying I could have went with CSE in Engineering,BTW I'm mechanical Engineer, M working in my core domain!!! Working on real time problem, solving it ok it's all fine people working in Laboratory,core sector, Professors, researcher scholars if anyone sees IT professionals will definitely feel jealous because Money you get is infinity!! and minimum effort with smart work with Googling you can do wonders at ua work

Hello sir, mujhe bachpan se software engineering field main kaam karna mera dream tha, maine apni PUC main PCMC li thi par 2nd puc main % kam aagya.. mera chemistry ka marks kam tha isiliye mera PCM ka % kam aaya.
Mujhe CSE course ke liye kahi seat bhi nhi mili coz of my less % + my PCM ki %... mereko ghar ke pressure main ECE course leni padi and idk anything about ECE.....
What should i do?

Finally a guy who understand our problems. I have deep interest in ECE and Further want to do research on it (example- VLSI). But I can't opt for research as my financial conditions are not so good. I want to give my Parents a comfortable life at the end of the day 😄
