How Meet Now Works in Group Chat
In the past, when in a group chat, you can do an audio or video call. When you do one of these calls, everyone in the group chat gets notified with a message and ringing. If you had a group chat with nine people, but only six were actively chatting, and you wanted to meet, clicking audio call or video call would cause all members to get noticed. The other three members may be in meetings or unavailable. With Meet Now, a ringless notification is available. When you click Meet Now, it changes to Join. The six members can join the meeting. The other three members do not get notified.
Meet Now is the default, but if needed, you can click the drop-down next to Meet Now and do an audio or video call.
